Lucia answered that, but it's an OOC position as we help new users who don't know much about how to navigate the site.
Of course there are a few exceptions *coughs* @Avery Leveret *coughs*
We mainly focus on the three highlights of the site- the rest can be figured out easily, but should you not figure it out or overlook it, we as mentors are here to help.

He was very fast to pick up on what to do, kind of like he was experienced on this site when he wasn't lmao. All the same, I'm proud of him.

FAQ — Questions
If you mean something like there being real spells or potions in play in e.g. Cinderella, mentions perhaps of places and events in the wizarding world, or even rewriting them as historical events in the wizarding world that muggles took for wonder tales then I think such stories would be fine. I've done a couple myself, though haven't worked them up properly for being in the Library.Cassie Jiang wrote: 13 Apr 2023, 12:49I change the characters and the plot a bit so it fits wizardsOpeila Winters wrote: 12 Apr 2023, 15:50What do you mean by rewrite?Cassie Jiang wrote: 12 Apr 2023, 14:32 thank you all! @Bailey Glade @Clark Baird

Do be aware: Disney is famous for rewriting or reworking actual classic folk tales; that said, be careful not to plagiarise a Disney rewrite as that might involve your writing in legal issues and copyright entanglements.
Feel free to read the real stories in the collections of Grimm or Anderson or Lang or Scheherazade and rewrite from those sources as they're all in the public domain!
I would urge you to channel your inner wizard story teller and give the stories your own personal touch as writer!

To be precise, my first story will be Melissa Albus White and the Evil Witch, changed fromm Snow White... added wizard parts, is that okay?Colin McCoire wrote: 13 Apr 2023, 14:17If you mean something like there being real spells or potions in play in e.g. Cinderella, mentions perhaps of places and events in the wizarding world, or even rewriting them as historical events in the wizarding world that muggles took for wonder tales then I think such stories would be fine. FAQ — Questions
Magic mirrors, empotioned apples, glass coffins --- what can possibly go wrong! Be mindful that the names of the seven Dwarves (Sneezy, Doc, Dopey, etc) are all Disney. As I recall, they weren't named in the original tale. You could of course make them free or unbound Elves, like Dobby, and give them completely different names!Cassie Jiang wrote: 13 Apr 2023, 14:19To be precise, my first story will be Melissa Albus White and the Evil Witch, changed fromm Snow White... added wizard parts, is that okay?Colin McCoire wrote: 13 Apr 2023, 14:17If you mean something like there being real spells or potions in play in e.g. Cinderella, mentions perhaps of places and events in the wizarding world, or even rewriting them as historical events in the wizarding world that muggles took for wonder tales then I think such stories would be fine. We have magical mirrors in the wizarding world. The Evil Witch could have used the draught of living death. Just give Melissa a good back story and plot!
