I'm assuming that I know the answer, but I would like to double check: If you have access to Hogsmeade OOC, then can you and your family visit IC in the holidays? (Just double checking, that is allowed, right?)

Basically as soon as you enter your parents' care outside of Hogwarts, they make the calls, not Hogwarts.
It's like your school forbidding you to leave the grounds during schooltimes, that doesn't count during holidays when you are going home. These rules are only in place when Hogwarts would be held accountable if anything happened to the students.

It is said that it can leave you with severe amnesia, just like it did to Lockhart, though in his case it produced retrograde amnesia, in which he was unable to retrieve any memory of what had transpired in his early life, and if it is executed erroneously, it can erase major chunks of a person's memory and create brain damage, with complications in restoration.

im aware that after applying and being accepted for parselmouth i will have to wait for next IG year to apply for prodigal and such, but am i allow to apply for, say, perfectionist or lovely creature this year? for character development
