adding on a possible example, for instance I have Rhys's Reserve for explicitly my orders, but say I'd like to assist in someone else's shop offering art tips and tricks, could I co-own that shop as well as having my own be separate from that?

I'd ask a staff member just to be sure. I think you might be able to assist in some manner but at the same time am not entirely sure. Staff members would know for sure!
EDIT: Regarding Ava's post, I remember that time. I think the reason behind that was that it was going to be set up so that whoever got to the first order would do it but they wouldn't say who was doing what work. So it could create a problem as customers might want a specific style that someone else couldn't do. But I think if you specifically state that you can ask for a certain person to work on your work it's fine. However, I'd suggest still seeing what a staff member has to say about this.

I remember once someone was going to do a giant collective shop and people could sign up to work there, but many of the people who signed up already had shops and staff (can’t remember) either shut down the shop or said you would have to close any shop you had before joining the collective shop.
