Come be Comforted! <3
Hello Emily! Wow. I can’t believe that is expected of you. You’re young and shouldn’t have to go through that. I’ve been a straight A student all my life minus the fact that I got one B last year which still tortures me. I would say for you to not stress. Take a deep breath and try to focus on studying without the stress. I know it may seem impossible, but when you do this, your mind will be opened to learning the material. It also helps to find the way that helps you study best. Hope this helps and good luck!Emily Harris wrote: 2 Sep 2025, 11:52 Hi! I really need some advice,
I'm currently 13 years old (ooc) and I know this is mad but I am really really stressed about my schoolwork. My entire family are high achievers and though i am good, i'm not good enough and just can't seem to meet their expectations (I score 92% at school but my dad wants minimum 97%, in my country, and school that is a very tall order). To top it off, if i don't score well enough in my exam in a week (my midterm for 80 marks, a very important exam) i might just be pulled out of school. Please help
Thank you all of you

I feel that! I'm really hard on myself but one thing I learned is to just not stress. Your brain works better when you don't. Your family has really high expectations of you and a 92 is still a good score! God I sound like my mom when I say this... I would say study but not to much. Studying helps but sometimes when you study so much you forget things. I'm sure you'll do great just breathe and believe in yourself! I know this doesn't really helpEmily Harris wrote: 2 Sep 2025, 11:52 Hi! I really need some advice,

I totally understand what youre going through. My parents expect that from me too especially after my brother almost failed highschool. It really sucksthat they expect so much from someone so young. But don't stress about it! A 92% is wonderful! To help you get higher scores maybe study. Set a timer for about 30 minutes and study.Emily Harris wrote: 2 Sep 2025, 11:52 Hi! This is more of a question but it just makes me overwhelmed.

I 100% agree! There are some nights like tonight that I have no homework because I finished it at school, but there are other nights that I have 2-4 hours worth of homework!Lindsey Bliss wrote: 9 Sep 2025, 00:14 This is more of a question but it just makes me overwhelmed.

ikr why are teachers only expected to teach one subject but we're supposed to learn them all?Lindsey Bliss wrote: 9 Sep 2025, 00:14 This is more of a question but it just makes me overwhelmed.

It simply isn’t an adventure worth telling if there aren’t any dragons.
