Honestly I wasn't going to get an owl at least I don't want one right now. At the moment I've been thinking about getting a rabbit since Hogwarts already supplies them.

If you want to get a pet you need to save some money first, usually first years can't afford a pet at the beginning.

I don't think so o.o Don't mistake the total monetary value of every item you have for the actual money you have. The 9 galleons is all your school material from diagon alley too, which you can't sell. To see the money you have, hover over the frame in the top right corner.
My profile card says 188 galleons, but I actually only have 25.

And mine is... nineteen? But I have 1 galleon 1 sickle and 8 sickles.

The amount on your profile card is the money amount and the total of all your objects combined. I wish I had 30 galleons!

Yeah- if I didn't sell anything, I'd have WAY more than what I have now. I think the highest I had it without selling anything was 29
