My dad just had a stroke in the grocery store parking lot. Mom is with him in the ambulance heading to the hospital. I was at home with my sister, and since I don't own a phone, mom called the neighbor across the street and had her run over so I could talk to my mom.
I'm a wreck right now. Nothing like this has ever happened before in my life. I'm so scared, Winter.

Okay okay okay. So I've learned what to do during a stroke (trained) but Im not there right now. I just want you to know that the ambulance has highly trained people who know exactly what to do, and will treat your dad with great care And it's okay to worry, just calm yourself or you'll put yourself in a great deal of panic. *hugs*

I have faith in the ambulance people. I'm just so scared, man. This has never happened before.

I'm so sorry Ari. I wish I could do something to help you. Like Juni said, just don't panic, I'm sure everything will be okay.

I don't know if you guys are religious or anything, but pray if you do. If you don't, just keep me in your thoughts.

Your mom will be updating you, you probably wont get any major answers until tomorrow. I am sorry to hear about this of course. What you should do is help straighten up, make sure that you and your sibling are fed, showered and have your clothes out for school or going to the hospital to check on your dad. Make things as easy as possible for your mom right now so she can focus all her energy on helping your dad.

Also get COVID test.
