@Alliasta Holista thank you so so much for reading and responding it means so much.
ive talked to my mum lots of times about getting involved in my friendships and things that happen in school and she just never seems to understand like ive had times when someone's just made a comment about me and ive just told my mum when im telling her about my day and she calls the school about it which makes the teachers get involved and then they talk to the student and it just escalates. i completely understand that maybe I should try to explain that I understand she's protecting me but I can also make my decisions and quite a lot i ask for her help but she doesn't understand that im perfectly capable of sorting my own issues out and instead of getting involved she can give me a chance to sort things out first beforw jumping into it. I'll talk to her tomorrow when I'm less tired and stressed. thank you so so much ❤
we accept the love we think we deserve

I'm so glad I could help! And yes I can understand parents... oh but I hope he can finally figure it out. Good luck to you and you can always send me an owl if you want to talk!

Is it dramatic, yeah. Is that relevant, no. You feel what you feel.
As for your friend, their loss because in choosing to not involve you they are down one more friend that they could have had. Even if they gained others, it is like walking past a 5$ bill because you found a 20$ bill earlier in the day if you wanted to presume these other friends are highly valued. It was an illogical choice and unlikely a sustainable one for them.
My suggestion is to move on without them. Do not wait for them to tell you, assume that they have other plans and make plans of your own. If you do not have others to make plans with, then find others. How? Honestly, it is fairly easy. Say hi. Smile. Not just to one person, to random people, in general. Be that pleasant person that others want in their orbit and you will find them in yours. Compliment people, small stuff. It makes their day. I like your shoes. I like your bag. You make such sharp wing, just got to say you did a great job. And then carry on. Some will smile, happier because of you. Some will use this as a hook to engage you in conversation. Reel them in.
It is not about listing a compliment a day to keep a friend. Just random, nice words to everyone. The sporty person that kicked butts in gym, great job. The real pretty girl that must spend 2 hours getting ready every day. The nerdy girl with a fun anime t-shirt. All of them. You like what you like unapologetically. Positive forces attract.
There is something about ambition, how it not only propels you but also defines you.

@Evangeline Lynn, you are free to feel what you feel. But also you can use this time to find what is interesting for you. You can also find new friends instead of waiting for one person. If they start to talk to you later again, it's alright, if not, you are not depending on them.
Use this time to see what you like to do, what you want to do, and try to engage in small talks with different people. By some time you will find yourself chatting with someone

My best friend and I split parts yesterday.
I knew it was going to happen eventually; we didn't have any classes together but it's still sad.
I wrote in this chat because I've been feeling depressed ever since.

I'm so sorry you're going through this Karina
I can only imagine how hard this must be for ya, especially if your best friend meant a lot to you
:<
I don't have much advice to offer but I sincerely hope that things start feeling a lil lighter for ya soon
Keeping ya in my thoughts and prayers~
Life is like a box of Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans; you never know what you are going to get.

Oh, I’m really sorry to hear that. Sometimes, when people don’t stay in touch, they naturally start to drift apart. It’s kind of in our nature. Of course, it’s not a nice thing but sometimes, we have to let it happen. Yes, you miss your friend and you want to be with them. I’ve been through the same thing once, so I truly understand how you feel. Controlling our emotions isn’t as easy as people think, and these things… they just happen. But you shouldn’t let it tear you down too much. Life has its bad days, sure, but that doesn’t mean your whole life is made of bad moments. Keep your heart light. Maybe nothing will replace that one friend, but I’m sure you’ll make many new ones. And one day, you’ll look back on this with a little smile. People tend to take the things they love as if they’ll last forever it’s like it’s built into us. We love as if it will never end, and even when we know it might, accepting that is always the hardest part. It’s such a frustrating thing but never let it dull your passion or your belief in loving things deeply! Always be open to new things in life, and remember comforting yourself is something that will always be in your hands.
I hope you feel better soon, Kari!!
