Lets see... Sylvie’s traits...

She has blonde hair and green eyes which represents my original deep and complex thoughts for this character. The thought was, “hey, I think blonde hair and green eyes look good together.”

Also, reading this conversation I have learned that some people put a lot of thought into small details and some people are good at making up the most random stuff

Well here’s the thing. I think out non frequent characters alot. So like Rowan’s father, he doesn’t appear often, but I have a bit of detail in him. Ex: his entire appearance is usually white (white hair, pale skin, white robes, exc exc) 
While with Rowan, he’s a complex character that kinda has developed over time. Yes, hes still mine, but I don’t plan him anymore really, I kinda just let the character grow.

Like I said before, Elsie's most defining physical trait would be her tooth gap. She's also known to blush easily and has a bad habit of biting her lower lip.

I think I've passed my one year anniversary as well but I took a super long break in between so I don't know if its worth counting. I'm hoping to work more on developing Elsie more especially from being on hiatus.

Heck, I don't even know where Cel went anymore--she started out as a super boring book-nerd trope but at this point I feel like she's the one going like WRITE MY STORY ALREADY and I'm just trying to keep up

My Character (Donny) started out quiet and nerdy too...and then I re-watched the last few Harry Potter movies...and now he's like, an adventurous rebel getting detention! XD my life rn  

Koko... she's definitely surprising me. I had her as a Ravenclaw originally. She would always either have her head stuck in a book, or have a knife stuck in her enemy's arm. Of course, that was when I first made her. I've been developing her for years, and now she's kind of that solemn person with hidden ambitions. In a way, her most defining feature is her ambition; it fuels so much of who she is. As for her most defining physical trait, it would be her kaleidoscope eyes which represent her ever-changing persona.

Really. She's starting to develop on her own now.

Xailahs most defining physical traits are her skin and eyes. Xailah Alptraum is one of my go-to OC's. She's part of a world that I created, that is still in development. When I first found this site I had no intention of staying (that obviously changed), so I decided to use this character, and made alot of tweaks so she could fit into the Harry Potter Universe.

I wanted to keep her original appearance, and I did so by making her family a bunch on metamorphmagus, and animagus. Her mother made a unsuccessful transformation into her animagus form before she had Xailah, which would result in Xailahs strange appearance. Her mothers animagus would have been that of a cat, which is why Xailah was born with a feline-like appearance. (Just for clarification, Xailah is human)While some of her physical traits can act as an advantage, most are disadvantages, for example she has large eyes with slitted pupils which allows for excellent vision at night, but results in horrible vision in bright-light or even daytime settings. You can read more about her advantages and weaknesses in her encyclopedia.

As for defining personality traits; Xailah is a hopeless kleptomaniac, therefore your valuables should be kept away from her. Note that she doesn't usually steal things from people, but she will take things if they are unsupervised. She now has so much stuff that she had collected over the course of her first year, and has no idea what to do with it; so she has started to hide her findings around Hogwarts. Maybe I should have her start a little pawn shop or something. Lastly, the way talks has been changed. Because her new set of fangs are coming in, her lisp is now prominent. The lisp will most likely be revealed in the Ballroom Dance Floor thread.

Well I'll be darned. I just learned a whole ton about a lot of different OCs. That was certainly very interesting. Thank you guys for being so extensive in your answering, you've given me a ton to think about! Kae was kinda just... formed. I dunno. I mean, at this point he has a system of beliefs and ideas so odd and complex that I've probably forgotten some of them. But he started out pretty simple. I was so lazy that when I made him I didn't even want to come up with a backstory, so I just said he came from "the fens" and only figured out what I meant by that later on.
