You've guessed it right - no, sorry!

Having eyes, but not seeing beauty; having ears, but not hearing music; having minds, but not perceiving truth; having hearts that are never moved and therefore never set on fire - these are the things to fear.

I think so- But most likely they would try to separate themselves from their child if they were werewolves. And don't forget theres already a potion to give the person control while a werewolf.

Yes, but they must get bitten, not born a werewolf. Also, the writer must still make the reason plausible. For instance, "They decided to bit [name of character] so the kid wouldn't feel alone that he was the only one in the family who was not a werewolf" or "They turned her into a werewolf to accompany them every full moon" or "The parent forgot to take the Wolfsbane Potion and caused this accident" won't do.

Also if you are a werewolf and your friend wants to be a werewolf, you can't bite them and turn them into a werewolf for various reasons. I know it states in the rules under werewolf that you CAN actually do this with OOC consent from the player, but you can't actually do it. It's not currently allowed, for the main reason that IC it wouldn't make any sense at all if you (as the werewolf who turns them) want to keep playing your character. This has to do with IC consequences for having this happen, not just regarding you and your friend but Hogwarts and its staff and the wizarding community in general. Plus the werewolf community. You MIGHT be allowed to do it if you wanted to expel your character and deactivate to activate a new one but I'm not sure whether you'd even be able to do that...

I’m just planning for a future character, thanks both of you! @Marius Brown, @Kim Sato. Would it be normal that the family was a pack, so they would have no choice but to let him be turned into a werewolf? Basically a werewolf from a young age type thing?

As far as I know, no. How is it possible that everyone in the family is a werewolf? The parents maybe, for instance as they bond over their condition. But what about the siblings? The relatives if you also refer to them? Also, why would they be forced to turn a child into one? Remember, in HP no one is born a werewolf and there is Wolfsbane Potion. Forgetting to take it for one full week is not very reasonable, nor is biting everyone in the family.

To clarify what Kim has said. Yes, you can bite someone with OOC consent. What you cannot do is bite someone without IC consequences.

If you bite someone and give them a magical, incurable disease, then there are going to be consequences for your character. We can find ways to figure out what those consequences are with you in hopes of helping you write an RP that isn't going to expel your character but that does need to be spoken about first. However, if you bite someone, unless something has been established that will prevent you from being expelled, you are likely going to be expelled and possibly arrested. You've been negligent in taking your wolfsbane and have condemned someone to live with a life-altering condition. Essentially, it would be played straight in the same way as the knife attacks. For this reason we do recommend speaking to staff to work through a workable, logical solution.

NPC characters cannot be used to get around the above.
