Hi!

I think that a file upload would be extremely useful because the artwork one has created might have trouble getting onto the web and thus one can't post it as an example of what their character looks like. I know that this might be hard to achieve but it would save People so much time

There are other ways to add a file to posts/onto the site. I believe this would need a code update.

The only platform that i could use was Ibb.co But it doesn't show the image as i have sent it to some friends and they also said the could not see it.

@Josette Rutledge I suggest using imgur (just make sure you load the link to the exact image, not the post with the image) or imgbb. Creating a way to upload the images to the site would require a database with a lot of space and maintenance, which would be pretty expensive to support (both in time and finances) and a lot of coding to implement (the site's developer is also currently temporarily unvailable).

I do use PostImage and it working quite well so far! As Meenauh said, imgbb and imgur are also great.

We actually had the ability to upload images on Hio when the site was first created, but as Meenauh said, this needs a lot of server space and money. Our server is financed purely by donations and the money of the site owner (Zachary Winslow). If every one of our a few thousand users could upload pictures it would kill the server. Actually, this was the reason the upload feature was removed in the first place: it placed strain on the server to the point where other aspects of the site were slowed or broke down. So, unfortunately, unless Zach would receive massive donations we won't get to upload pictures on Hio.
