For my PC, she’s mostly like me IRL except I’m a bit louder and I despise school whereas she loves it! Hogwarts technically She’s also a bookworm, foodie and afraid of breaking rules like me.

As for my inpc, I’m planning on making her quite different. I’m still working on her tho…

Nice! I made Rosie largely based on me OOC, but more of like the person I want to be! Her anxiety is a true thing OOC for me, but she just handles it a lot better than I can, I guess! And looks wise we have similar hair, hers is what mine would look like naturally if I didn't straighten it into submission!

When I do my iNPC, I plan on making them very very different. Or maybe not, because I'm planning some personal lore stuff for Rosie, she's going to have a HUGE personality switch after some stuff happens, already started it with my pet thread but I'm looking forward to writing it out!

P.S. Everyone get ready for alternative Rosie eventually(3rd year ish), it's happening!

I think all of my characters have some elements of me but they're also all very different to me.
An example - I was a really awful preteen/teen and so a big part of who Silas is and my overarching plot for him (a redemption arc) is heavily based on my own development. There are plenty of things about him that are different to me, though, and even how what I just mentioned manifests in him versus my past looks a little different.
I also love making characters that are complete opposites, with my angsty PCs and sunshiny iNPCs. Contrast is fun and so is the flexibility to write about whatever I want to at any given moment. All of my characters are quite dissimilar to each other, so they can't all be based off of the same things.

For Avery, she is a lot like me. Though she's much more outgoing whereas I'm very introverted. We both play the sax, love to read books, try to be friends with everyone, and some other stuff.

For Dylan, he's in a way like me. He has my more quiet personality and introverted self. Especially around strangers, but he can be very friendly around friends and people he likes.

My second gen will probably be nothing like me.
