Awww, I mean... it's no wonder they like @Bailey Glade because she's as close to perfection as you can get as a human! But you did the right thing turning them down if you don't have feelings for them because you have to prioritize yourself over anyone else. What you feel and think matters the most because you have to be comfortable with your own feelings and thoughts in order to give a good answer to someone else. Don't feel pressured to accept someone else's feelings because you don't want to hurt their feelings. You should always stay true to your own feelings and thoughts because they matter the most when it comes to your heart.

If they really love and care about you, they will appreciate you telling them the truth rather than saying or doing something you don't really mean/feel.

I've never been rejected for a relationship and there is usually a queue when I leave one. But I do have a fair amount of experience with people 'very dedicated to hearing a yes.' It can range from annoying to dangerous depending on the person.

The important things to remember is that books and movies depict it as 'romantic' that an insistent potential paramour 'fights for them' or 'does not take no for an answer.' It is important to be clear, not 'nice' that you are uninterested, don't like boys, like someone else, just don't like them as politely as possible while still being firm.

The other thing to consider is that when we are polite, if we are too polite they think there is hope. "I am not ready for a relationship right now" or "I am going through some things" suggest that in time (which may be days or weeks) you would be interested. This can be seen as stringing them along. Clarity is important.

Hey guys. I'm posting on here to ask you guys to pray for my fam right now. So, I'm not sure exactly when this happened or all the details, but a couple of my family members got into a car accident. I believe this was an hour or two ago. As far as I know, it wasn't their fault. There was a truck that got into their lane, and my family member couldn't stop fast enough, so the front of their car was crunched. Even though only part of the front is smashed, their car may end up totaled because it's an older car. The good thing is that they weren't hurt when the truck hit them.
