Come be Comforted! <3
The story i'll be sharing with you, isn't mine. It's about what happened yesterday with my sisters boyfriend.
There's this new girl attending his school, and somehow has the exact same class as him. No one thought it would be a problem, until yesterday, the day she made her movie. When he arrived at his school yesterday, and was at his locker, the girl gave him a love letter. Obviously he was going to reject her, but she wouldn't take no for an answer. Then at lunch time, he was once again at his locker, but she made a very bold move. She forcefully kissed him, he didn't kiss her back and tried to push her away, but she wouldn't let him and she bit his lower lip to the point where it was bleeding. The good thing is, one of his friends saw them and separated them. He then immediately called my sister and told her everything, then she told me when she got home. I gave her some advice, but she wants to know what you guys have to say about this.

If you want some advice, I'd say that maybe either your sister could email her or contact her, maybe explain her view. Or, maybe your sisters boyfriend could tell her to leave him alone. If this doesn't stop, I suggest going to someone who could possibly have a discussion with her (maybe a teacher). I hope you and your sister can sort this out.

Thanks for the advice! But, my sister has no idea who this girl is. Her boyfriend also talked to the principal and his counselor, but they won't do anything about it. The principal is related to the girl, so they'll most likely take her side and not his.

That's not right at all. Hopefully someone will intervene. I'll be praying for you and your family to sort this out!

Before I begin my ramble, my heart goes out to all of you! Snugs to everyone and wishing you all a good day/night/4.00 in the afternoon 🥰
I'm just here to vent some anger a little.
So... After having not stopped moving all day trying to get errands done, I stopped to watch a street show by one of the best performers we have in our group. He's a juggler, he's a great guy, and it was the first time I've seen him properly in years. So I thought, "sweet! I can enjoy some great entertainmemt whilst I rest my legs!"
He likes to recycle a few gags (which are still hilarious to this day) but while I was having fun watching him, a group of youngish guys who do not how to enjoy things like this, even to save their life, starting calling it boring and repetitive and just kept acting like they were better or something. Then they started shouting swear words and abuse at him (I'll not say it here, but it went beyond a mere heckle.) Then halfway through they threw a lighter at him while he was getting ready to do one of his more riskier tricks (he does a lot of fire and knife juggling).
They eventually did leave thanks to the crowd rightfully telling them to frick off, but I'm still angry and amazed that people can be so cruel. That bloke is one of the nicest guys I know and practically got me into juggling in the first place. Because it's been so long I didn't expect him to really remember me that well, but I gave him some loose change at the end reminding him he was still the best in the business (a lot of our shows are freelance, so donations are pretty much everything).
I feel better after doing that and some other people came up to do the same, which was also really nice to see because he deserves a lot more than some annoying jerks treating others so disrespectfully. Still, I'm just fuming that some people are so horrible.
In a way it's like witnessing first hand the state of what happens when me and my friends do shows for festivals in town and whatnot. The last couple of shows we've done, it's just been disheartening to see people uninterested and sometimes cynical and acting bored when all of us in this line of work/volunteering is to have fun and spread it to the people that want that bit of escapism.
I'm frankly a bit upset that this is what the world has become. Maybe not for everyone, but definitely down here in our end.

Those people should not have done that to him. If they didn't enjoy it, they could've just left without doing anything. Some people can't leave things alone. It saddens my heart when things like that happen.

Hi. This is quite literally sexual assault. I'm not sure where you live, but in Florida the best case scenario is bringing it to local authority or the people in charge at school. Tell your sister's boyfriend that I'm very sorry that happened, and it is quite a jarring experience. The best possible way to handle it is to bring it to authority, maybe even get something like a restraining order on the girl.Tracey Bailey wrote: 13 Dec 2024, 14:53The story i'll be sharing with you, isn't mine. @Emily Shephard
I agree, the world really has become a disgusting place. But what you did was so kind, and even encouraged others to do the same. You should feel proud, maybe even hopeful, because if you exist kindness exists. But I totally agree, and I wish things were different. But anyways, keep doing you, queen!!

I never thought of that, thanks Juniper! I'll tell them your advice!

Tracey Bailey wrote: 13 Dec 2024, 14:53That is not only harassment, that is physical (caused him to bleed) and sexual assault. If in school, report it. Consider legal action, specifically a restraining order and/or for them to put them in separate classes. Do not allow him to be alone for his safety and ask the girl to leave if she is around. There is no 'this is inappropriate', this is criminal behavior. If a minor, they will likely be given unreasonable leeway, but it is a reasonable ask to have this person separated from them in terms of classes and locker assignment and to consider expulsion if it happens again. The fact he has a girlfriend is irrelevant, no means no and it does not mean maybe because he is single. He has the right to say no.The story i'll be sharing with you, isn't mine. This is not intended to be mean or negative. I encourage you to see counseling and the assistance of a mental health expert. Sometimes you are not able to modify the brain chemistry on your own. If you do not make the Serotonin, Dopamine, Endorphins or Oxytocin that you need, then store bought is fine. It is also possible that simple talk therapy will be enough. But I can only urge you to seek valid, licensed assistance.Aurelia Valentine wrote: 13 Dec 2024, 06:41 Can someone explain to me why I feel like I'm constantly treading on eggshells or thin ice every day? I don't actually expect for someone to understand or reply. I just feel like venting this years of frustration. 😆

Yup, figures. A friend told me to seek assistance from a mental health expert too. •́ ‿ ,•̀Solomon Lear wrote: 16 Dec 2024, 00:31This is not intended to be mean or negative. Thanks, Headmaster. I'll try to reach out to the nearest hospital here. I'm not exactly keen on medication, so therapist it is. It has been like this since I became self-aware; I just didn't like asking for help because one: I hate asking for help, and two: seeking help will only make the matter seem more real (I might, perhaps, still be in a state of in-denial 🤦🏻♀️). Thanks again for the advice!
