Is there a thread on this website which lists all the currently open threads, so the ones with no threads can go join them? If not, can there be one?
And moreover, is there a thread that tells us all about Hogwarts.io's RPG? Not just rules, I mean. When are classes, how to join them, how to do homework, a Hogwarts' calender of the events coming up, etc etc? I'm new, and I'm very confused.

I'm going to try and break these questions down to answer them all! 

Is there a thread on this website which lists all the currently open threads, so the ones with no threads can go join them? If not, can there be one?

Currently, there isn't no. I usually click the "Messages Unread" at the bottom and look for a few with the RPG Symbol (the quill icon on the left) and the [Open] Tag on it. If there's no tag on it, I would suggest owling the creator of the thread and asking them if you can join. Usually we would assume that no tag = open but it's best to ask as sometimes they might have wanted it to be private but just forgot to mark it.

If it's needed, the staff can look into starting one. It's quite hard to manage though so I'm not sure if we will be able to do it but I'll speak to the team and see if we can do that.

I don't think there is a single thread with all of this information. I know that Hufflepuff Common Room has a lot of this information in their Bulletin Board but I don't know about your house. If there isn't information accessible to you then I will look into making a thread for everyone (:

When are classes, how to join them, how to do homework

Homework is optional but a great way to learn spells. You can find it in your report card (if you hover over your profile picture, there's a few options like "Profile", "Trunk", "Address Book" and "Encyclopedia". 

After 10 days on the site AND 20 posts, you'll see a "Report Card" link between Trunk + Address book. Once you see this, you can click it and access the classes / homework.

You can find current events listed on the main page bulletin board, through your house bulletin board or from information threads. They are generally quite well advertised so you should find out about them but we don't have a calendar of all events simply to keep some of it a surprise + because we are still working on ideas for events so don't want to list up things and then not have them!
