I'm sorry, Juni. I don't know why he even thought that was an insult, because there's nothing wrong with being adopted. He was probably just annoyed at being shown up in such a way as everyone could see him get roasted, and trying to hit back at you for it in any way he could. Even if it made no sense whatsoever.

Feel free to point out to him that pressure can't be solved by being able to breathe underwater, and that if he went far enough down 'without any gear' the pressure would be too much and his lungs would collapse.

@Ari Gwild Aw, thanks. I live in a family of redheads so I'm overlooked a lot when people see their hair and blue eyes. But I'm unfazed by it most of the time since the opinion of stupid people won't get anyone anywhere. Still, thanks Ari and I have your back too. And thanks Henry and Edme, I'm used to it, it doesn't hurt my feelings it just makes me angrier that they think they can do this stuff.

I mean, I've personally got nothing wrong with wanting to be able to breathe underwater - it sounds like a really cool superpower. The annoying part to me is that he was fine with pointing out the flaws in other people's ideas, but apparently can't handle being critiqued himself. also once they're dead they'll probably end up floating to the top of the water so

What did you pick? There are so many cool things you could look into with genomes and that sort of thing! I think I'd go for the ability to create spider webs, because they're so amazing in terms of material and it'd be awesome to be able to experiment with creating threads and even fabrics with them, although it would be a little confusing atonomy-wise. There are goats out there whose genetics have been altered so their bodies create the liquid which spiders spin into webs, and it comes out as part of their milk, but they can't spin it themselves, that has to be done by humans. I guess you could figure out how to make some sort of machine for it though, to make it quicker and more reliable! i apologise for nerding out

I would choose camouflage. My skin would change color to look like my surroundings so I could sneak up on people. I think my superhero name would be obscura, and my suit would be iridescent, and the texture, as well as the design, would be similar to snake scales. The scales would match the changing of my skin, and the scales will change as my skin does. There would also be a feature so I could walk along walls, which again would be useful if I needed to blend in, no one would walk into me that way.

And @Lucia Fox I do agree it is SO cool, like ahhhh! Science. But my science teacher knew someone with a cloned dog, since his original one passed away because of cancer, they took the cells and cloned the dog. However, the cloned dog passed away like his original, because of the cancer cells in the body. But my science teacher is such a geek that he and his bff GMAIL each other scientific facts. He proudly showed us one of the conversations they had and we were all looking at each other like "Ohhh, that's why he's STILL single."
EDIT: Oh gosh I really want to get a ferret but I already have a frog and I don't want to be that one person who roleplays their character's frog running away lol

I need to get Lizzy a pet... either a cat or an owl. I can't decide! The ferret is super cute too though... Why can we only have one pet?
