My mom is kinda homophobic, so over dinner I brought up transgender, she started peppering me with questions, and inside my head I’m like, I support them, bish.. But outside I launched into this almost CER format speech about why there’s absolutely nothing wrong with LGBT+ and why more people should support them. My dad gave a round of applause. My mom was silent until the finally told me it was great for me to have my own opinion... she was so surprised. I almost died of laughter when I got back to my room my only safe place from the horrors of the world...

I’m glad you were able to voice your opinion and it sounds to me like they’re respectful of you becoming your own person; maybe they’re surprised because they didn’t realize you’d grown so much.

Cut to me crying because my girlfriends niece is NINE. She was four when I met her. Time really does fly. 😭

I actually had to search up the meanings of demisexual and pansexual. There is a ton of stuff to know about genders.

Is anyone straight? Just to make sure I'm not alone. There is a load of emphasis on LGBTQ+ in rps in this site, so when I just walk in as an eleven year old kid, straight, white, mother and father and a not tragic backstory, it feels kinda like I'm being left out lol

I don't think you're alone! I've seen plenty of straight people (and Straight Allies) on here as well as LGBT+ members.
