Describe why this fits your character (not why you the player want it):ReducioElvenia wandered through her big mansion, searching for her mother’s missing locket. The house was filled with antiques and was pretty big, making the search tricky. Even though her mother and the rest of the family had looked everywhere, the locket was still gone. Elvenia decided to help, knowing her own peculiar knack for finding lost items and also by looking at her mother's desperate wish to find that locket. At first not knowing where to start, she decided to look in the library, her favorite place in her house.
Having some hope she started her search in the library which was located at the top floor of her house, a room packed with books and odd objects. Elvenia’s sharp eyes noticed everything—a worn leather armchair, the floating dust in the sunlight, and the scattered papers and books. Her intuition, a feeling she couldn’t ignore, led her to a pile of old letters on a small teal colored table located in the furthermost corner of the room. Reaching the table, she moved the letters aside and looked through some piles of old books and found an old, decorative box that didn’t seem to fit with the rest of the mess.
Curious, Elvenia opened the box. Inside were some family keepsakes and small trinkets. After carefully taking things out of the box one by one her keen eyes spotted a small, dusty book at the bottom of the box, which seemed out of place. She carefully opened the book and discovered a hidden compartment within its pages. With a mixture of excitement and carefulness, she reached into the compartment and pulled out a soft, purple colored velvet pouch.
Elvenia slowly opened the pouch and, to her delight, found the missing locket inside. It was beautiful, heart-shaped with a delicate design. She felt a surge of happiness as she realized she had once again found what others couldn’t and that also for 2 days.
Elvenia returned the locket to her grateful mother. As she did, she thought about how her ability to find lost items had always been a part of her. It wasn’t just luck, she had a special knack for noticing small details that others missed. Her keen eye wasn’t just a random talent, it was something she had naturally.
As she went back to her room, Elvenia felt a deep sense of pride. She didn’t fully understand why she had such a knack for finding things, but it made her feel special. It wasn’t just about locating lost items, it was about the satisfaction of solving a problem in her own unique way.

Altar was always fascinated by defensive magic. He was of course interested in Charms and Potions alongside this, but something about using such great power to fight the magical darkness lurking in this world...it was always his focus as a student. When he got to Higwrts he had launched himself into study, often analysing his textbooks or perusing the Library for ones he didn't have: books like Jinxes for the Jinxed, for example, or the appropriated rewrite of Basic Hexes for the Busy and Vexed. He often put extra effort into asking his older peers - to an extent where it appeared he was interrogating them for information - about what they had learnt so far in DADA.

Rupert Lace, Altar's Great-Great-Great Grandfather, had been a duelist in his time - a rather good one, who is noted for the knee reversal of Sir Hudson Dogwood (another duelist from Cambridge). Altar had always idolised his distant ancestor for this, and felt a glowing pride that the descendant of the phoenix who gave Rupert their feather had given Altar theirs - in his view, becoming both able to defend yourself and able to duel like Great-Great-Great Grandfather Rupert was probably one of the most amazing achievements in the entire wizarding world. This only fueled his study, and inspired him in his spare time to try blasting pumpkins with attempts at offensive spells in his spare time.
Due to this, Altar repetitively sent owls to his relatives asking what they could spare in they way of advice in the matter (and the odd one to his father asking how his podcast was going). However after his mother's joking that a howler would be sent his way if he wrote anymore he immediately stopped - for approximately 3 days.

Altar's curiosity and determination - two factors which, even though he doesn't know it yet, were almost definitely the ones that got him into Gryffindor - played key roles in his quest for Defensive proficiency.
He made notes on spells, analysed the techniques of famous duelists, wrote down possible scenarios in which self-defense would be necessary and which spells could be used in them. He analysed Rupert's entries in the family history book for days on end - he sometimes even took his lunch to the Library or the Study Room to avoid wasting time where he could be researching. Silently people began to think this obsessive learning was more the making of a Slytherin or Ravenclaw - but this was just a keen mind hungry for knowledge.

Astrid's family has attended Durmstrang for many generations, and some in the family theorize that perhaps that's the reason that every generation has at least one practitioner of the Dark Arts pop up in the Nereim family. Fearing that Durmstrang's influence could doom Astrid to such a path, Astrid's parents moved to Hogwarts in an attempt to distance her from the temptation of a more intensive study of the Dark Arts.
Astrid's uncles, aunts, and even cousins had a different idea. Since her early childhood, Astrid's extended family would advise her to be less cowardly in her pursuit of knowledge once she came of age, and that certainly didn't change just because she began to attend Hogwarts. And, as much as Astrid wanted to deny it, their words made sense. After all, how could she defend against the Dark Arts if she didn't have a greater understanding of them? But then her parents would offer conflicting advice about the dangers of even considering dabbling in the Dark Arts.
It was all very confusing for the eleven-year-old, but one thing was for certain: the Dark Arts were not to be trifled with lightly. Astrid buried herself in her studies of Defense Against the Dark Arts, knowing that regardless of whether her parents or the rest of her family were actually correct, Astrid would need to learn to defend herself and recognize such threats.
She began to read the textbooks with a desperate hunger for knowledge as soon as she bought them from Flourish and Blotts, and with each book that even offered a hint of knowledge of the Dark Arts and how to defend against them, Astrid finished them from cover to cover before summer ended. She still needed proper tutelage to actually perform the spells, but she had a theoretical knowledge that was far beyond what was expected of her.
When she actually began classes, Astrid's theoretical knowledge was put to the test as she was finally able to begin to master these spells with the eagerness of a dog chasing its own tail. She spent hours after class in the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom just practicing wand motions and pronunciation until she was satisfied. She was very rarely satisfied, so her hours of intense practice turned into a mastery that, while it wasn't up to her own standards, far exceeded the standards of the curriculum.
She began reading ahead, finding spells for more advanced students. She didn't go too far ahead, since she understood the importance of mastering the fundamentals, but Astrid was intent on learning to protect herself from these forces to which her family seemed to be so inexorably tied.

How many times now, had she marveled at the skillful casting of her peers. An adept witch by her own right, Evelynn had still never managed to understand how Dealla, Pericles, and so many others of her peers had managed the feat of duplicating their spells such that they were capable of striking more than just a single target. Duel after duel, she would watch as her peers demonstrated a mastery of spellwork that the Gryffindor had yet to even glimpse. Perhaps it was not so surprising. In her early days at Hogwarts, it had been all she could do just to produce sparks from the tip of her wand, let alone an actual spell that she had meant to cast. Hard work and dedication had paid off, however, and many now considered her among of the most capable in her year. But for her, that would not be good enough.
While not exactly one to strive to acquire power for power's sake, it was ever the case that Evelynn never quite felt sufficient. Too many times, her lack of experience and ability had let her down—had let others down—whether in duels or matters of life and death. There was always something that could be improved. Always some goal for which to reach. Recently, perhaps due to being surrounded by those capable of that which she could not accomplish, she had fixated on this inability to spread her spells. When opportunity presented itself during the weeks of the school-organized summer camp, she finally swallowed her pride and solicited the assistance of Dealla and Pericles.
A bit to her surprise, they were more than willing to assist her, spending hours of their own time guiding her through the ways they had each come to master the skill themselves. Having so often been in the position of mentor, there was something decidedly odd, yet oddly comforting, about finding herself on the receiving end of such tutelage. As much as pride had to be swallowed in the face of inferiority, there was solace in the understanding that she would be making strides to further herself. It certainly wasn't easy. In many ways, she felt transported back to first year when a spell as simple as the red sparks charm may as well have been asking of her to transform a mountain.
Failure after failure piled themselves upon her attempts to grasp the concept, doubt and embarrassment tempting to sway her dedication more than once. Magic was always funny that way, she found. Regardless of how academically one attempted to apply themselves, it was really more of an art than anything, relying on personal flair and a feeling of attunement to really tap one's inner ability. To split a spell was not as simple as her peers initially made it out to be, but with patience and their continued guidance, one fluke moment of sending two snowballs to diverting targets cracked the door. And from there, it became a simple matter of chasing that same feeling until she was able to tap into it regularly. By the end of the summer camp, Evelynn could reliably duplicate her spells.

Describe why this fits your character (not why you the player want it):ReducioNo one could get Eirene to tell them that she was struggling even if they tortured it out of her or offered her a new pair of heels. In truth, she was having a hard time adjusting to this strange magical environment almost like a child tossed into the wild to defend itself. Her letters from her parents weren't helping the situation as they constantly tried to persuade the young girl to return to the muggle world. They claimed that she wasn't suited for the harsh academic environment and that returning to her pampered life would be better.
In truth her parents weren't completely wrong, she had never had to try too hard in the muggle world some tutors were always ready to please since that meant pleasing their employers. By the time she had sought help from her older sister, she had already accumulated low scores. It had taken many hard lessons and difficult study sessions to bring her grades to an acceptable level. "You should just start focusing harder on the things you love," Her sister had told her one day after a hard tutoring session. Love? Well, she hated transformation as it gave her the creeps, and the art of making potions sometimes grossed her out however she had been slightly interested in charms. She had watched her older siblings use simple charms to light a dark room or levitate a pot of tea and it seemed useful to her.
After another hard day, she came across the school library while heading back to her dorm she stopped by to browse a little bit at first wondering if there were any interesting magazines but her attention was caught by a book of charms. She ended up deciding to borrow a large spell book thinking that it would be a good place to start from. For a couple of weeks, Eirene began to develop a love for the art of charms. They were spells that affected what an object did instead of changing it completely which in turn gave Eirene less whiplash and more curiosity. After class hours for weeks, Eirene could be found checking out more charm spell books reading them in her dorm, or curling up with them at the commonplace. There was no need to interact with others when her studies kept her occupied and with that, her grades gradually increased until they were in good standing. As a reward for good grades her brother gifted her a shiny gold hairpin and even her parents wrote her a letter to congratulate her on her good grades.
With this Eirene took it as a sign that she could belong in this new strange world no matter what her parents told her. With her efforts carrying her further, even her peers began to take notice of her achievements in Charms as she would often tutor some of her classmates on a difficult spell or clarify them. It was then that her love of charms grew and with it her love for the magical world.

Describe why this fits your character:
ReducioIt's no secret that Amelie served as the tide amongst her siblings, a gentleness they'd come to rely on when days seemed bleak. The Halstead household was certainly not without its faults, and yet it was she with constant open arms that always provided shelter.
Her younger brother Henry, brilliant as the bugger may be, was especially known for his outbursts and impatience. A common trait amongst the men of her family, though unlike her older brother who typically shrugged it off, Amelie always found herself easily able to reach him. An ability to remind, often without even uttering a word, that it was okay to let go. As her tranquility never challenged his fire, and instead only embraced it.
And then there was Violet, a girl made up entirely of heart and nerves. An image that reminded Amelie all too well of herself, leaving her to house a particular fondness for the youngest. For all she wanted was to please those around her, and try as she may, was generally overwhelmed by the pursuit of it all. Brokenhearted over what seemed to be anything; an unkind word, a difficult task, and more often than not a frivolous disagreement with Henry. Each time Violet's world felt like it was on the very edge of collapsing, it was Amelie who grounded her. With a gentle embrace and a few softly spoken words, it was as if none of it mattered in the first place.
Because for her, this calm was about as natural as breathing. Their father, a man of little emotions, had cast cold shadows over their household amidst the latest years. A figure always present, but never really there. Navigating around his frigidity was routine, but it didn’t mean the effects went unnoticed. Instead it had always been their mother who brought upon true warmth. With a kindness left unmatched, her sole existence proved to Amelie that perhaps love didn't need to be profound. As what was love anyway? It, in its purest form, meant patience; an understanding that stretched far beyond words.
Amelie, despite her softness, is still far from fragile. Her eldest brother would call her obstinate and in many ways, he'd be right. A stubbornness that defines the root of her very nature. As it's far from simple passiveness, but rather an active choice. Shadows would not consume her any longer, nor anyone she cared for.

Describe why this fits your character:
ReducioIt was no secret that Annaliese had a knack for getting out of trouble. Maybe it was her blonde curls people were always admiring, or her quick wit when coming up with excuses, no one could say for sure. No matter how many times the two Callaway siblings got into some mischief, Emery would always wind up with the worst punishment, much to his disbelief.
Unbeknownst to him, Annaliese had discovered she had a skill for charming their tutors, distracting them from the fact that she was supposed to be in trouble. Whether it be making an extra joke or flashing her signature dimpled grin, their tutor couldn’t stay mad at her for long. This came in handy when she was attempting to persuade them for more sweets or to skive off her schooling.
Annaliese always thought she had just been lucky, attributing it to the fact that she was a girl, until one particular instance that left her with the realization that her skill was special. Emery and Annaliese, both taking a break from their schoolwork, had been chasing each other around the gardens on their brooms when a statue caught Annaliese off guard, causing her to swerve abruptly and ram straight into the heavily manicured flower beds their mother took pride in.
Emery, hardly able to contain his laughter had gotten off his broom and helped her up, however, their tutor at the time, hearing the ruckus, stormed out to find the ruined flower beds and Annaliese, now covered in dirt. Annaliese immediately launched into an elaborate cover up story, finishing off with an over-exaggerated apology and a seemingly-innocent smile.
Rather than the harsh scolding and grounding Annaliese had prepared herself for - the tutor would surely receive punishment for letting the incident occur from Annaliese’s mother later - the tutor just shook her head with a reluctant smile, telling her to go clean up before turning to Emery and lecturing him on being a better example for his younger sister, assigning him extra homework.
It wasn’t just their tutors either, but it seemed that anyone around her couldn’t help but be drawn to the extroverted young girl. Forced to attend many social gatherings with her parents to “keep up appearances”, Annaliese learned to mold herself to better appease whoever she was talking to, changing little things about her words or mannerisms to present herself as someone they would get along with. It didn’t take much, her bright blue eyes and air of confidence already drawing them in.
Using it to her advantage, Annaliese never felt guilty for using her charm on others. She couldn’t help it, it just came naturally to her. So what if it helped her get out of trouble or get something she wanted? Skills were meant to be used, after all.

Among the various wands belonging to the Morozov family, the Obsidian Fox was recognized as the most powerful, yet peculiar wand, that, after the original owner's death, had become the first and only to become a family heirloom. Its main oddity lies in the fact that the wood used to craft it prevented it from being used by anyone but its original owner. Due to its power, the establishment of the Morozov tradition surrounding the Obsidian Fox was created. Each successive generation was presented with the wand for 72 hours, with the hope that one among them would be deemed worthy of inheriting it; however, none have been accepted since the time of its original owner. The wand either responded unfavorably toward, or, more commonly, entirely failed to interact with any prior holders.
However, an exception to the wand's rule had appeared.
A few days after his eleventh birthday, Ari had been presented with a suprise. However, to his dismay, it was not what he had wish for—a pet cat that he would be able to bring to hogwarts—instead, his father presented him the Obsidian Fox. The wand was an artifact whose stories and age were older than his father's. Nevertheless, after considering the matter for a few seconds, Ari had determined that the wand served solely as a decorative object, and lacked any genuine use.
From that day, Ari could remember the first thing he noticed about the wand was that, even though it was made of ash wood, it was able to mimic the pure abstraction of a black hole; it was as if the wand had demanded absolute perfection the moment it accepted him. Additionally, on the wand's bottom end was a gem that only enhanced the already present sense of inferiority; that its existence was on a completely different level of importance than his own.
However, around the second day of having the wand, a miracle happened while it was in his pocket: an item he wanted, which was across the room, suddenly floated towards him. With this instance of accidental magic, the wand had finally selected its second holder.
White River Monster Spine, WC = 54
Both the pureblooded Morozovs and the muggle Ewonè's have established notable reputations in their respective communities of buisness, which have led to the fame and fortune they now possess. Therefore, even though Ari Morozov is not of pure blood, he has been raised in an environment characterized by both muggle and wizard perfectionism and fortune.Ash Wood, WC = 56
A wand of loyalty is one is able to match with many people of the Morozov household, particularly with Ari. Habitually, he presents himself as an introverted person with not much to say; however, when one manages to break past this barrier, Ari offers sanctuary for those he trusts; offering them a space to confide in.25.4 cm (11 Inches), WC = 60
Similar to his new wand, Ari is very cautious and perfectionistic and therefore, he likes to think before he acts or speaks; his presence damped by his habits of observation rather than interaction. Specifically, his unimpulsiveness reflects the relative minuteness of his wand. However, as it is not the smallest wand, it also reflects his constant confidence and initiative-taking personality.TWC = 587Sturdy, WC = 61
Ari possesses a strong sense of perfectionism and confidence, traits that, when combined, can sometimes result in stubbornness. Due to this strong sentiment, his steadfast attitude towards many of his beliefs is certain to be mirrored in his wand. Additionally, he is prepared to express his thoughts when he deems it necessary, or alternatively, to take action based on his convictions.

Name of Ability that you Are Applying for: Luck of the Irish Sixth Sense
Describe why this fits your character:
ReducioLisa is a girl who experiences the world to the fullest and is very attuned to it, she's adventurous and often relies heavily on her instinct when making decisions. So far, despite being rather daring and impulsive, that didn't get her in any serious trouble and that might be due to having the Sixth Sense that warns her when she should stop herself from doing something or going somewhere. That also means that she quickly notices when something is not right with the world around her, even if she cannot immediately explain why. Lisa is the outdoorsy, hands-on type of person who often acts before thinking and if she didn't have the intuition to warn her, she would inevitably get herself into dangerous situations beyond her ability.
One instance when this ability came in handy, was the summer before her first year of Hogwarts. She was visiting with her beloved cousin in Nepal and they were playing outside, discovering the unusual nature of the country. His parents were also Irish, but they lived there for work since she was around five years old. While exploring a local grove, she had the sense of foreboding that her cousin did not, she felt that they were in danger. Unlike him, Lisa did not ignore this feeling and soon discovered that a dangerous snake was hiding in plain sight taking advantage of its camouflage. She was able to warn him before it struck and they managed to get away safely. Her cousin later told their parents that "Lisa has a sixth sense!".
Lisa also has the uncanny ability to sense when someone is paying her any undue attention or looking at her secretly. Her experience so far tells her it's the negative type, because she managed to prevent her parents from getting scammed on more than one occasion. She could tell not because she was able to read their minds or know their intentions, but simply because she noticed that their behaviour and body language were different from normal. She could just tell that something was just not quite normal and in her experience the reason was always that someone was trying to take advantage of her or her family members.
There were, perhaps other instances when this ability could have come in handy but she disregarded it herself. It's only in the last year or so that she started to notice it and became more attuned to it. Once she did, she started trusting it maybe a little too much and became even more daring, convinced that her "sixth sense" would warn her of any danger... she doesn't know that that might not always be the case. Perhaps, the very thing that prevented her from getting into trouble in the past will lead her straight into it in the future? After all, problems are a way of the world setting boundaries before us... if we don't learn to respect them, isn't this just asking for more?

Name of Ability that you Are Applying for: Obnoxiously Strong
Describe why this fits your character:

It is no secret that the exuberant girl Accalia Avalon has a reputation for above all else her physical strength, maybe it was due to her rigorous training regimen in the rugged mountain home where she grew up, or the willpower and physical discipline her parents had instilled in her from a young age, maybe even just an innate aspect of her families nature, whichever way, there was no denying that she was built differently from most.
Accalia’s life had always revolved around discipline, and the physical endurance that came with it, whether it was lifting heavy loads up from the lower parts of the valley near home or climbing steep cliffs, she was unflinchingly strong, and everyone around her knew it and embraced it, seeking to draw more power from her young frame.
Due to her strength Accalia has a reputation for diving into hard work without flinching, hauling firewood or fixing a shattered roof, she’s all in, eagerly tackling tasks that most others would try to avoid, seeing them as just another part of her day, another duty to her family and to her local village.
To keep up with this she trains incredibly hard, and you can often catch her running up the mountainside with a load of stones in a pack on her back or swimming across a lake in winter, in fact If there’s a challenge, she’s always ready to tackle it head-on.
To her, physical strength isn’t just a necessity; it’s an extension of who she is as a person.
Her body, toned and hardened by a lifetime of relentless effort, is a testament to her family name.
Even the people in her local village marvel at how easily she could carry out laborious tasks that would otherwise take two or three men to complete and seek her out frequently when she is around to aid them.
Many whisper in admiration, while some try to challenge her strength, only to find out quickly just how outmatched they truly are, Accalia laughing all the while as she was challenged to wrestling matches, or tests of strength, thriving at the face of a good challenge and building a strong competitive edge, thriving in the face of friendly competition.
To Accalia this was just normal routine, it was not until one fateful storm that she realized exactly how powerful she truly was, setting her name in legend among the local community for years to come.
It occurred when a severe storm hit Dunkeld, destroying the local church and causing trees to fall in and around the mountain, debris blocking the path to her home, and while she was out on a hike, challenging herself to brave the violence of such harsh weather, she heard screams of help from a village local who got himself trapped under a fallen tree, Accalia hearing his cries, fought through the storm to save her neighbor.
The fallen tree was enormous, and other locals who had gathered to help could only watch on, unable to lift it when she arrived on the scene, then stare stunned as with a roar, she managed to lift the trunk just enough for the villager to crawl out.
The villagers were astounded, they knew Accalia was strong, but her lifting that tree felt legendary to the town.
Whispers about her being a descendant of Cernunnos, the Lord of the Wilds, started circulating her local area yet despite the talk and accolades Accalia remained steadfast and focused on her own development, after all strength was just who she was and she found it rather embarrassing to be the center of a new legend, she was glad when the next tale came along and she was once again seen as just the strong girl of the village.
Her strength, like the rugged mountains around her, is rooted in resilience, she uses it to protect others and face whatever challenges present themselves, without any sense of pride or shame, maybe a touch of embarrassment when it gets brought to light.
Accalia is the very essence of strong.

Obnoxiously strong is not a super power. It will not give you super strength of three men or be able to lift a entire tree by yourself. Remember, you are an eleven year old girl. Yes, you might become stronger than other eleven year olds through training and exercise as you have mentioned, but that does not give you super powers. The example of a fallen tree brings up the question of magic - why didn't the wix of the pureblood village use magic to remove the tree? As you live away from muggles.
