I thought about it- I really did, about the spiders-
And as for the cats-He slowly stalked around the room, carefully trying to decide on what to buy. He started off at the spiders, as they interested him, and he looked into their eight eyes and hissed like a snake. Menacing was what the boy so desired to be. But the spiders just crawled up to him on their eight legs. Cody wasn’t scared of them, but he felt slightly threatened by that cursed spider. He moved over to the other spider, which seemed to be dark brown-black. He reached in, touched it’s back gently, and it seemed to have buckled and bent back, as if attacking, or in a defensive mode. With that, Cody quickly withdrew his long fingers immediately.
Rats were one of his favorite creatures due to muggle rumors that they started the bubonic plague and bit people. Well, this may have been wrong in the Wizarding World if Cody had to theorize a possibility to prove a rat’s innocence.
Did they care? No. So Cody just saw the cats prowling near the rats. He began to sneeze. Ai, it was true. He was allergic to cats. So he would never buy one.

Lucia's allergic to rats. She was originally allergic to rodents but I wanted her to have a pygmy puff and we weren't sure whether or not they counted as rodents lol
