Clark William Baird-Carter wrote:But if you're applying- and you're a student- and you get the role, you get to create the adult character via validations and all, and when you decide to step down from that adult staff role, then your adult is deactivated iirc (though I've been told on few instances that older accounts are open still)
Your student will not be deactivated.
Thank you both for your response.Opeila Winters wrote:No, you won't be deactivated if you become prof, neither when you step down from prof. Only the role would be taken away in the case that you step down, you would no longer have access to staff areas.
So that means, I could play both as Edward and the staff person (if different from prefect I mean)?
And thanks @Flash Holmwood for your elaboration. That's very good to know.

Um... so like I'm writing an rp to get a pet, was wondering if like I could write it as like Keith's aunt pov, and at the end say, "That's the story they had told Keith after he opened his gift"
So like, it's the telling the story, and I make that clear at the end.
Or is that not allowed?

You can get the pet anywhere you like, we only want your thread to be in the Magical Menagerie for moderation purposes, since a head of house will manually add your pet to your profile. It's easier if they don't have to search all of hio for pet threads.Keith Moore wrote: 2 Dec 2022, 16:51 Um... so like I'm writing an rp to get a pet, was wondering if like I could write it as like Keith's aunt pov, and at the end say, "That's the story they had told Keith after he opened his gift"

Or if this is about povs- no, you cannot write from your grandmother's pov. You can have Keith listen to her telling a story, but it will have to be his pov.

Technically you don't, every student has access to school brooms. However, school brooms have some big disadvantages in comparison to brooms bought at shop, so I recommend saving up for one.Nick Khlestov wrote: 3 Dec 2022, 07:03 Hello,

You can collect 10 sickles a day from your common room, some errands reward money too, but I think Ravenclaw also has a broomfund, so I think you'll get some support in affording a broom once you are on the team.
