Here’s what I do know for sure:
Open = anyone can join
PV = don’t post unless it’s private for you
Closed = ?
Abandoned = Owl a moderator to reopen
Finished = The thread has ended

So for my homework, it looks like I have to use my book to find info for my homework. Am I supposed to do this? And how do I open it in my trunk??

That's not accurate. It simply says use your book to stay IC. The books do not open. I stead when it says use your book or when you need info outside of the lesson you simply do a Google search. Sites like Pottermore and the HP Wikia are good sources to use. It all depends on the teacher. Some require a certain amount of lines, some words, some nothing. You simply have to read their specific directions in the he an different you are still confused each teacher has a Questions on Lessons thread in their classroom.

Honestly, I try to do both. And I do them on my laptop with the browser on fullscreen, which has a longer screen than my phone, for example. That way I'm covered either way. So this may seem like a silly question, but in all fairness, I'm used to roleplaying on Instagram. So... How do you label threads? You know how they have like "private with...", "open", "closed", all that in the grey boxes? How on earth do I do that?
