When homework is posted it will usually be posted on the billboard thread at the location for that specific subject, so you will have to subscribe to them. For already posted homework if you click your profile picture in the top right, there should be 'report card' in between Trunk and Address book. If it doesn't appear then you haven't been here a full 10 days yet, you need to have been verified 10 full days and have 20 posts, but I can see you have 33 so the posts aren't a problem.

Do you mean the bulletin board?

Well in the charms area and the Potions area and places like that there will be a thread called bulletins or bulletin board or something, you have to subscribe to each subjects bulletin board so you will get a notification each time a class puts up another homework, it isn't in the bulletin board area.

I have written the description of character, but on the supply list it is still unchecked since the last edit. Previously it was checked. Can you help me with this problem? Maybe I did not understand something. Maybe it because I passed sorting ceremony before waiting for administration validation? If it is so, what have I do?

Hey! About the supply list unchecking --

I've heard that this is rather normal but isn't something to worry about since you already have all the supplies you need. Any member of staff, as always, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

^ Anatole is 100% correct. It's fine. Mine's unchecked and I've been here since Feb and am a staff member LOL. You can't be sorted till you're validated so it's fine. 

I’m still rather confused by this, so, just to clarify, what’s the difference between PV and Closed? (which is also apparently not the same as Abandoned?)

Here’s what I do know for sure:
Open = anyone can join
PV = don’t post unless it’s private for you
Closed = ?
Abandoned = Owl a moderator to reopen
Finished = The thread has ended
