Remember a Day
Before Clementine can tell the girl that she really doesn't want anything, she's already gone. Noelle leaves the compartment, and right after her trails Roman. Sighing on her own, the muggle-born looks down at her hands, staring at her old Walkman. Putting her earphones back, she presses the play button, surprised that her songs have been playing during this whole time, considering I Want You Back by The Jackson 5 is playing, being the only pop song in there.
Father used to say, with that sad light in his eyes, that it's her mother's favorite song, that they used to dance to it all the time. Unfortunately, Clementine never got to meet her mother, and she can't seem to access the memories back to her baby days. All she knows about that woman is that, supposedly, she was amazing and everyone around her loved her. "Just like you," Nathaniel said, once, before crushing her in the tightest hug.
With a heavy sigh, drawing fingers at the Walkman with her fingers, she looks outside of the window and lets herself wonder for a minute... It's a good song, she concludes to the sound of young Michael's voice, pretending that's the only reason why she didn't delete it.
ReducioOOC: I'll continue when Noelle and Roman come back to the compartment, so you can go on without me.

Remember a Day
[quote][quote]After hopping out of the compartment, hands on his pockets, back slouched in such a terrible position, he follows after Noelle, keeping a very safe distance from her. Roman grabs his money, playing with one golden galleon in his hand, not caring much about anything else.
Then he sees the Trolley-Lady coming from the opposite direction as him. The witch is old, and slightly hunchback, with grey hair and a gentle look to her; almost like a grandmother. Or what a granny is supposed to look like, Roman thinks, as he never got to meet any of his.
Quickening his steps, the boy stops in front of the trolley, once the students inside the compartment are done buying their treats. The trolley is colored and shiny with the different types of magical candy. And the prices aren’t bad either!
Roman looks around all the options he has, eyes shining as he recognizes some of his favorites, such as pumpkin pasty and Mr. Spindle’s Lick “O” Rish Spiders. He also finds some boxes of the good old Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Being to which he makes a funny expression.
Despite being popular amongst all wizards of all ages, quite frankly, the boy’s never been a big fan. Mostly due to his bad luck, always getting the worst types of beans possible, like grass or vomit. Once, he actually managed to get all of the worst flavors possibles, and when he came back from the bathroom, after throwing up, he found his house-elves eating the rest of his beans.
Ignoring the beans completely, as he doesn’t want to experience that ever again, the boy continues to look for more options, needing some of that sugar rush in his veins. There’s Charm Choc and Skeletal Sweets, he notices, to which he hopes to buy because he hasn’t had those in what feels like forever.
Roman’s quite the sweets enthusiast, as anyone can tell by the overly excited look on his face as he analyzes all the different options laid in front of him. He can proudly say he’s eaten every possible wizarding candy ever!
The Trolley-Lady seems to notice as she lets out a laugh, and asks gently, “Anything you’d like, dear?”
Looking down at his hand, counting exactly 2 galleons and 14 sickles, Roman nods, extra excited, knowing he could buy some of his favorites. Counting the final cost, he mentally chooses what he’s gonna get, pointing it to the old and sweet witch, saying, voice pathetically soft and quiet,
“Three ‘O’ Rish Spiders, and three pumpkin pasties, please— Hm, and…” Roman finds himself in a dilemma as he analyzes the other four sweets he wants, but will only be able to choose three. “Two Charm Choc, one Caramel Cobwebs and, wait, wait, are there Hocus Pocus Pops left?”
“No, I'm sorry, my dear,” The witch tells him, voice even sweeter now, to which, surprisingly he pouts, immaturely. “The student from the other compartment bought the very last one.”
“Uh, fine, I’ll get two chocolate frogs, then,” Roman sulks, handing the witch all of his money. She gladly takes it, putting all of the sweets he wanted in a bag before handing it to him. He takes a peek at it, taking out one the chocolate frogs, opening it quickly. He takes a bite, chocolate melting in his hand, and looks at the card he’s received. How lucky. “Come on. Granger again, really?”
The card is of Hermione Granger, one the main witches that helped in the Second Wizarding War, as it states in the back since the witch isn’t even there to begin with. Roman has five of those, and fifteen of Ronald Weasley. He rolls his eyes, and they land on Noelle, who clearly doesn’t know what to get. With a huff, he moves to her side, putting the chocolate card back in the bag while eating the sweet.
“Sugar quills are the worst, I tell ya.” Roman says, with an honest tone, very opinionated when it came to sweets. He points towards the green packing sitting right next to the beans. “If I were ya, I'd get the spiders. They’re the best, ya know,”
