Laughter Heals Pv DeRook Finished

She smiled up at him as he agreed to train again. Less of an agreement really and more of a declaration of refusing to admit that it had actually stopped, and this was something that she was more than willing to go along with. They both knew the bad that had happened between them and yet at the same time it still wasn’t enough to break their friendship. After all, it was Rook that made her feel comfortable, she didn’t feel like she needed to pretend with him or be overly proper. She could just be her around him and more importantly, he had instilled that love of quidditch in her. If it weren’t for him suggesting that she join him early mornings in the first place, she wouldn’t feel half as confident as she already did for her first game. She would be forever greatful in the confidence that he instilled in her it was as if being around him made her feel like she could take on the world.

Then he opened his arm like he was going to hug her and for half a second she fell for it taking a step forward only to be welcomed with a playful bap to the side of her head. He swiftly avoided her leg coming up attempting to kick him with the inner side of her foot right on his rear. His height did him justice with his legs being longer and able to carry him away faster. One of these days she would get him back though. Shaking her head with a laugh she followed him. “Yes bright and early. I’ll even sneak some pumpkin juice out… you know, since it’s your new favorite and all.” She knew he hated pumpkin juice and she was being sarcastic, but she couldn’t help but take a dig at him since the new issue of the bludger had come out. If he so chose to drink it out of spite she would watch him suffer in his stubbornness and probably giggle at him in the process.

Once they left the classroom and breached the hallway she’d smile up at him again. “See you in the morning!” As long as he had nothing else to say besides the same sentiment in return she would turn and start walking towards the Slytherin common room while making sure his Gryffindor scarf was secure over her shoulders. She was going to need to drop off her dress before writing a huge letter of gratitude for the amazing people that gifted it to her.
