It felt weird watching his friend (and especially his cousin) treat him gently, using their words cautiously. He was just about to use his chair as support to pull himself up, but he was promptly pulled up by Charlotte, to which he thanked her under his breath, going back to pinching the bottom of his nose to prevent any more leakage from happening. He felt a bit lightheaded when he stood up, seeing wisps and bursts of light in his line of vision, which went away rather quickly.

"No, no, I don't- I haven't got to go to the hospital wing," he pushed Charlotte off of him lightly, frowning when he felt his eyes get a bit watery- what, was he going to cry over this? I mean, it hurt terribly, but he was never one to complain or become stuffy over a punch in the face. Still, this was different than any sort of physical injury he'd gone through, maybe getting some ice wouldn't hurt... He bit back the lump in his throat, refusing to speak another word as he was worried he'd sob if he even tried to get a word out. This was horrible, probably the worst thing that would ever happen. Maybe that was dramatic, but he was allowed to be dramatic. He just got a knuckle sandwich, wasn't that enough?

"Ehm, it doesn't feel broken," he almost laughed when he heard the way his voice sounded while he was holding his nose shut, nasally and weird, his voice crackled. "Can't we joost go outside togevah?" The truth was, he didn't want to go to the medical wing alone-- who knew what they had in there? What if he had some secret fatal cancer he didn't know about that they'd discover? He'd live a life of misery, surely. "Please?"

What really knocks me out is a book that, when you're all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn't happen much, though.
