Dare to Duel? Closed

Cameron entered the Duelling Room and noticed two students were already in a duel. He went to the side lines and decided to sit this one out and not participate. He hasn't learned how to duel yet and looked forward to it in Year 2. As the duel continued he couldn't make up his mind on who he wanted to win. Slightly doubting both duellers he gave up on his decision. Nevering hearing that spell before he jotted it down on his parchment and then looked up and waited patiently to hear other spells that were being casted. Noticing the flock of birds that were going off to a certain area of the room. He clapped afterwards once the duel came to a close. Hoping the duelests heard his support he gave up and went out of the Duelling Room. He thought about past duels he heard about that took place at Hogwarts and in the second wizarding war. Maybe in the future he will be an excellent dueler. There was no way to tell since Divination could always change its course on what the future holds. He knew that duelling also had its slight dangers pertaining to certain spells. 

Horace was happy with his performance in his first duel after all he has trained so long for this. He purposefully didn't use any harmful spells even expelliarmus could have thrown her back he just didn't want to hurt a duchess no matter how friendly she seemed. 

He had a huge grin on his face as he approached Lisa "You did good for your first duel! especially with that repelling charm but you just have to be more quick at casting spells when in a duel" he explained Lisa as well as some other basics like not to get distracted easily or how to use your physical agility to dodge spells. 

After a fine lecture "Maybe i can help you with some new spells? how about we practice later whenever you are free?" he said excitedly. As he was busy talking to Lisa he noticed a boy clapping for him he smiled at him as he left the room. Horace knew this wasn't a fierce duel or anything but he was still happy that he was being recognized as a dueler by other students. He noticed that Rhea and Puppet haven't even started yet maybe he still has the chance to study their fighting styles.

As Puppet got into the correct dueling position, so did Rhea. Rhea bowed in Puppet's direction and then pulled out her wand. Her wand was at the ready, and various spells were running through her head. Now she just waited for Puppet to bow and they could begin the official duel.

Juliana bowed back at Rhea. She had so many spells flowing through her mind. She quickly moved to the side, and pointed her wand at Rhea. "Tarantallegra!" Juliana shouted doing the hand movement for the spell. Why not have some laughs in this duel? They where both having a prank war so might as well do it in a duel. She laughed for a second seeing Rhea dance uncontrollably. Juliana looked over at the other people. They seemed worried but laughing. This was going to be an interesting duel... Just then she quickly did a hand motion at Rhea and said "Expelliarmus!" Rheas wand shot into the air. Julian mover toward and caught it. "Oh. I guess this would not be fair... Would it?" Juliana snikered. She then used the levitating charm on the wand. It was a pretty easy one. Juliana waved Rheas wand at her face but then she quickly snatched it, just as Juliana wanted her to do so. Juliana was ready. Protego, Cave inimicum... No I haven't practiced that one.... Protective spells ran through her mind. She knew that she-herself had very fast reflexes...

As soon as Puppet bowed, Rhea opened her mouth to cast a spell but Puppet beat her to it. Puppet waved her wand and muttered an incantation, and soon Rhea's feet were moving along their own will. Rhea growled and tried to control them, turning the involuntary dance into a hip hop routine, finishing it off with a split. She smirked at Puppet. Puppet didn't say anything and instead waved her wand once more, yelling, "Expelliarmus!" Rhea's wand flew into the other witch's hand, and Puppet walked closer to the redhead, taunting her. Rhea jumped and retrieved her wand.

That's it, Rhea though. She was fuming, barely consuming her anger. I guess it's time to bring out the big spells. Rhea smirked as a spell went through her head, a spell that would most likely have her win the duel. But then she realized that people would become worried if she knew said spell, so she decided to retain from casting it.

Instead, she settled for a simple spell. "Petrificus Totalus!" Rhea yelled, waving her wand with the appropriate movements. Puppet's limbs bound each other to themselves and she fell onto the ground. Rhea snickered and then walked over to Puppet, placing a foot over her. 

"So, Puppet," Rhea smirked, "Who wins?"
