Just trying to Walk.
Kaylee sighed as she walked him walk off. She had just met him, how could he be so..... him? He was too hasty and a bit arrogant, but he was cute and smart and mischievous in his own way. Kaylee began humming on the way back to her tower, not stopping to chat to Maxwell who tried to interrupt her. She was in too good a mood to talk, and she was satisfied when she saw that the teachers were confused about the spilled plants. She clambered up to the West Tower. She answered a riddle (it was the night), and entered the common room. She flopped down on the couch and stared lazily at the fire.
Kaylee had encountered many of the opposite sex before, but he was something different. Totally normal and comfortable around girls, not acting stupid to prove himself but more to have fun.
"Sweetie, why don't you go play with the boys?", my mother sighed.
"Mommy, they pushed me off the swings!", I wailed.
"I'm sure no boy would do that to you! Or at least wouldn't mean to!".
"Yeah. Stop being such a wimp moron,", my brother rolled his eyes.
I stormed up to the boys and they just laughed as I demanded to play with them.
They began to throw dirt at my new pink shoes.
My mother scolded me.
Kaylee's face hardened at the memory. She had to stand out to make sure her mother knew her.
And she knew just how.
