the signature took a bit of time to think up, but I wanted something simple to match the character. he'd probably fall into chaotic if I did an alignment.

@Isaac Ambrose hahaaa you're so sweet  the causes link leads to the Keeper of Keys and Grounds' Cabin, which i don't think first years have access to yet... but it's a good read, 1000% recommend and also i just totally messed with that friends post and now it's a mess and only has scott on it but tysm

also, i'm so in love the headers and tree footers in your encyclo?? it's got this kind of gothy feel that i'm diggin, and the lil crystal gifs are the most precious thing to ever exist.

@Isaac Ambrose thank you. honestly, the whole arc kind of just came to me? I think though, based on my RL experiences, it isn’t too creative - a lot of Mari’s live is somewhat derived from my own experiences, whether I have experienced it personally or secondhand. I have a great interest in psychology and sociology, and I like learning about social services. I’ve just seen a lot of how families are affected by things and how children react to trauma that I kind of use Mari as a way to get my feelings out, if that makes sense. I’ve realized how healthy it’s been for me to get these emotions out, positive or negative

I’m not used to people complimenting my writing hahaha I’ve never thought it was special. This site has a group of really impressive writers, and I’m just honored to be a part of it.

@Marla Quinlan woah your family background is super interesting. I love how you have the trait of rebelliousness in her parents stretch to her (that’s something I’m most interested in psychology-wise: inherited traits). I’d love to hear more about her experience with her family thinking she was a squib! How interesting. I’ve also been admiring your writing quite a bit but will save that compliment for another time.

But actually, you are literally so talented and your relationships are so organized?? How do you do it??? Teach me your ways, please? And I love how your encyclopedia goes thorough into every family member's life, I've been trying to do that but I'm definitely not as specific. So, long story short, your writing, character, and encyclopedia are all absolutely amazing!

@Jane Victoria I really appreciate how it seems you know your character on such a personal level. I also greatly appreciate how it seems (based on posts I have seen) that you have a really clearly defined vision on what your character looks and acts like. I often struggle with that, and I admire people who know what they want their character to represent.
