"You mean like a photograph or a painting?" she asked. Those move, though she'd never heard of them being referred to as 'footage', but it seemed to be the same thing. Though paintings were semi-sentient, and she wasn't sure that Muggles were quite capable of that. Photographs didn't really tell stories though, not in the way Silas seemed to be describing it. Those were just captured moments, and they were silent as they replayed the same moment over and over. And they certainly weren't make believe.
Taliesin shifted a bit uncomfortably. Really the topic as a whole was uncomfortable. It was like the wolf trying to give a sheep advise of how to not be slaughtered by other wolves, and she knew it, "Well, unfortunately, there are circles in this world that care quite deeply about labels. Labels define everything here. Light and dark, pure blood, half blood, Muggle, they're all archaic ideas, but they're deeply engrained and unavoidable." she pressed her lips in a tight line, nervously picking a bit at the table, "But, like I said, there's no real magical power difference based on blood. And even if someone is bigger than you, as long as you have your wand and enough wit to cast faster then them, you can defend yourself." Taliesin offered a small smile, "The silver lining to being a Muggle-Born, is that there's no real expectations of you. You have a clean slate in this world, which means you can come and go from it as you please, and become whatever you want in the end. That freedom alone is worth its weight in galleons."
Some of us aren't that lucky, she mentally added to herself. Taliesin hated the labels too, she just wasn't allowed to say it out loud. Labels were confining and suffocating; and the fancier the label, the less options one had.

"The girl who carried her last name like a burden..."

"Yes like a moving photograph, I apologize if I am not explaining this quite well.... OH I nearly forgot, the painting on the walls in the keep here, very close to that minus the sentience. It is difficult keeping up with everything I see here."
He tilts his head slightly noticing her expression he smiles a bit.
"This is all incredibly serious, but in truth I will do my best to defend myself, I am considering even attempting to become a duelist in the future; however I sadly understand what you mean. I just reject it. Never was one to let the world tell me what I am, think I will continue that. Besides if anything that feeds into the lack of expectations right?"
He giggles a bit at the thought of seeing himself dueling knowing he likely will be awful at it. This time however he has a more genuine smile, she seems at least to get him. Whether or not this is true will be revealed in time but for now, enjoying a friendly peers time is more then enough.
"Unless you had more questions for me in this little game of yours I believe you mentioned wizard chess? If, of course, that is still on the table?"
