I love the new font and everything looks amazing. If I can just offer the tiniest bit of criticism I do think that the floo page is a bit clunky, because of all the pages you have to click through. I think the drop down menu was a bit easier to navigate, but I can see why it doesn't work as well for accessibility reasons. Maybe it's just a matter of getting used to it. Regardless of that everything looks great and you can tell that a lot of work and love has been put into this. Thank you for everything you do

edit: just noticed that there actually is a dropdown menu. Because this thread is in site information, I assumed that was all there was in the dropdown. Consider my criticism voided lol

I love the new update, thank you so much for everything Zach!! Everything looks so pretty and the accessibility is much better. It will take time to get used to though lol.

I am going to be a confused old person for a while trying to figure out the new buttons, but it is okay. I like the new buttons and how you can search things now under the Floo network, which brings me joy. It looks really great, thank you.

I love everything that been done but that little thing has absolutely made my day. And I love the backgrounds and I live the weather and I love the flue and I love the rememberal and I love the font.

A side mention: beans are only located in places everyone can access now. It is part of an update to the ACP Zach previously made, so it is something small we can celebrate in addendum.

As both a member of this site and as someone who's in IT industry, I love the work behind this update, and it deserves a lot of recognition. The visual changes are the first thing people will notice but what impressed me most was the approach taken to get here. From experience, I have a general idea of the effort that goes into rewriting a live application incrementally instead of starting over. It's never easy because it means maintaining the existing functionality while also replacing parts of the underlying system and in doing so, avoiding any failure or downtime. It's no joke when I say it's a difficult balance to achieve.

From a user's perspective, the new navigation is more intuitive especially on mobile (I'm usually on mobile so this is really helpful) I've been utilizing the bottom navigation even before but this is much better, way better especially the Floo menu. Small UX updates like showing the current location, allowing shortcuts and making menus more predictable have huge impact on usability.

I also would like to acknowledge how you also give consideration to performance and accessibility. From one developer (I used to be) to another, I know those are often the least visible improvements but they provide the greatest long term benefit. Giving users the ability to customize animations and visual elements is, I would say, a very thoughtful touch. Like everyone else, I like the shaking owls, floo and the remembrall animations, and the weather! Nice addition, that one.

Overall, it's a substantial piece of work. I know this kind of work often goes unnoticed because it's mostly done under the hood but from both the player's and developer's perspective, it's definitely a lot of thought and effort that went into it. This site is very lucky to have you as the owner and also the developer, I can see how much you put your effort and time and love into making all these improvements possible for the members to enjoy. This community is also lucky to have an owner who considers its members' input when it comes to any decisions about the site, because I've been a member of other sites and we didn't have that kind of privilege. So thank you, thank you for everything that you do. You have an amazing site and I love all the upgrades you've done so far, looking forward to more updates soon!

EDIT: Just one thing I noticed Zach, the marauder's map is empty, it's not showing anyone after the update.

There are so many cool features that you have implemented such as the floo system. I’ll give more detailed appreciation once I familiarise myself with more of it.

I also really appreciate the thought going into accessibility. It means more than I can currently express at this time.
