Elena smiled at the photo, it was a nice keepsake. A way to remember a happy little moment in time. She liked the idea of being able to have a book full of memories, Elena would have to keep a journal or something else to remember the days by, she’d bought one at the book shop. This was definitely taking a prominent place in day one.

“You’re definitely pretty! Look at the photo, you have the most amazing smile.” Elena pointed to Min-seo on the picture, “See? Well above average. You could definitely be a princess.”

Elena frowned at the mention of wars, “I’m a little bit worried about that actually, some of the older kids were talking about a Masked Man, apparently he’s been attacking students. I’m definitely going to be cautious. I can watch your back as well, if you want that is.”

"Food and sweets it seems like. A lady had a trolley full of them. Would you like anything?"

Elena was about to say she was fine when she remembered she hadn’t actually eaten anything the entire day, she was pretty used to not eating but when given the option she would definitely take it, “If you’re getting something then I might get something. Maybe one of those chocolate frogs people seem to like.”

Elena would’ve disagreed with her again but figured it wouldn’t do much good. The girl had obviously decided that she wasn’t a princess, so Elena would have to convince her over time instead of in one train ride. The blue haired girl then realised she was thinking of ‘over time’ as if she had all the time in the world. The further she got away from London the more free she was feeling, and freedom was something Elena treasured above everything, she was scared of the idea of being someone’s puppet. That’s why she’d almost vomited when she read that the Imperious curse existed, the idea was terrifying.

“There’s probably nothing to it, I bet they saw a lost looking girl and decided that it was the time to see if they could scare me, luckily I don’t scare easily.” Elena winked and smiled, “Thanks so much! It looks awesome.”

She dug open the chocolate frog and munched on it happily, it was a lot better than the food she usually had, and chocolate was definitely rare to be able to get, she beamed and looked down confused when she saw a card with a person on it, “Min-seo, look at this! The person is moving, and also, why is there a card in with the chocolate? What’s it meant to be?”

“There’s probably nothing to it, I bet they saw a lost looking girl and decided that it was the time to see if they could scare me, luckily I don’t scare easily.” Elena winked and smiled, “Thanks so much! It looks awesome.”

“Min-seo, look at this! The person is moving, and also, why is there a card in with the chocolate? What’s it meant to be?”

"It's okay, I'll protect you Princess Min." Elena smiled and shuffled a little closer to Min-seo, it said Nicolas Flamel, she'd seen some stuff on him earlier. Elena looked at her own chocolate frog card.

"Morgana Le Fay... Hold on, Morgana is real!" Elena's eyes lit up and she beamed at the Korean girl, "That means Merlin is real! Oh my god, and King Arthur and all the Arthurian legends too, that's amazing."

Elena realised she was rambling and went a little bit red, "Sorry, I just get really excited about myths and legends, I sort of grew up on library books and there was always something on Arthurian legends that I hadn't read, I used to sneak off and pretend I was a witch. It was a lot of fun, sort of nice to get away for a while."

"Yeah, it's really interesting science behind photography, there's this salt that would go black when it was hit by sunlight. I haven't read that much about it, but it's meant to be pretty cool." Elena looked at Min-seo, "You know, I really like the darker lighting up here, it's easier to see. We have a west facing window, I hope we get to see the sunset from the train. That'd be beautiful."

"Princess Min?" she said with her eyebrows raised and a smile.

Min seo nodded. "All of them are real. And it's no problem if you get excited, I understand. Everyone gets excited about something. And that seems fun. I usually just stay, I don't really have anywhere to sneak off to." she said with a smile.

Elena said. Min-seo tilted her head to the side. "That seems cool. I never knew it had a large history." she said.

Min-seo nodded. I want that to be a picture for sure. And I hope so too." she said with a smile.

Elena smiled, "Yep! Princess Min. Someone around here should call you by the right title. Even if you refuse to admit it yourself."

"The history of these things is a lot bigger and more interesting than most people can realise. Then again, maybe they do or just don't think it's important. I like to think that knowing where things came from is important though." Elena fiddled with her robes again, she really was looking forward to getting out of these, "Hey, do these robes feel really heavy to you? Can't wait to get back into my hoodie, I hope we don't need to wear it all of the time during school days, maybe we can do breakfast in our uniforms or something. I'm also glad I managed to get pants instead of a skirt, I'm not used to having to deal with anything other than jeans."

"Although, the idea of having a uniform is sort of weird, this is a magic school, and magic is meant to take concentration and focus and like empathy and stuff. Shouldn't students just wear whatever's comfiest? Seems a little authoritarian, if someone can give me a good reason for it then I guess I won't argue though."

"Yep! Princess Min. Someone around here should call you by the right title. Even if you refuse to admit it yourself."

Min-seo raised an eyebrow but said nothing. She really didn't think of herself as a princess. "Now I've got to come up with a nickname for you......oh gosh I'm not sure. Or I might just call you Elena. Not sure really." she said.

"Hey, do these robes feel really heavy to you? Can't wait to get back into my hoodie, I hope we don't need to wear it all of the time during school days, maybe we can do breakfast in our uniforms or something. I'm also glad I managed to get pants instead of a skirt, I'm not used to having to deal with anything other than jeans."

"Yep, honestly I'm just going to," she took off the robes leaving her in just her uniform without the robes. Do that. It's a bit lighter, it's nice. I don't mind wearing skirts, honestly. I think it's because they want us to be with the right group with our houses, so we don't get mixed up or sneak with a different house. I have a quick question. Do you know which house you'd want to be in? I'm not sure, honestly," she said.

Elena had once again missed the obvious solution, she hadn't thought of taking the robe off until they got there.

"I do have a nickname, but I don't like using it around people I trust, it sort of... Distorts me, if that makes sense." Elena dragged her robe off and shook out her arms, "I think you're definitely awesome enough to make a great one, but Elena is fine by me!"

"The houses are interesting, one of the things I actually bothered to brush up on, figured I could learn the rest later but I should know about the crazy school I'm going to before I go there." Elena tapped her leg as she thought, "Hufflepuff isn't as much my style, I'll probably not end up in Ravenclaw. I like the idea of wisdom, and I think I'm pretty witty, but I'm not the kind of thing that I'd work well in. Gryffindor has the brave and bold, Slytherin is ambitious and has a reputation for a bit of snark as well. So I guess one of those two, not sure which one though."

"What about you Princess. What house do you think you'll get into?" Elena smiled and fidgeted with her chocolate frog card.

"I do have a nickname, but I don't like using it around people I trust, it sort of... Distorts me, if that makes sense." Elena dragged her robe off and shook out her arms, "I think you're definitely awesome enough to make a great one, but Elena is fine by me!"

Min-seo smiled and tapped her chin. Lets see......what nickname...hmmm..... Then she thought of it. Maybe. Just maybe.
"I'm glad you trust me, and I kinda have a nickname for you. Maybe El? I'm not sure, if you don't like it I won't call you that." she said with a smile. She yawned, a bit tired from waking up early.

Min-seo tapped her chin again in thought. "Well, I'm not sure really. Maybe Ravenclaw? I'm creative, I guess. Or I might get into Slytherin, like my godfather. I'm honestly not sure." she said.
