"Yes yes you're correct!" she said as he asked her whether it was his tutoring fee. "Aww come on Alex just have it! I added my love and blessings for you. Don't you think its wrong to say no to your cute and pretty best friend?" she asked pouting like an innocent bunny asking his owner for a piece of bread.Ira Ray______________________________________

Ira knew he just had his lunch and it is most unlikely he will accept some snacks right after but she still wanted to give it a shot. Of course he is thoughtful and doesn't want to get on people's red list so it probably wont be too hard for Ira to pursue Alex to have the forbidden cookies.
"Look at the chocolate chips Alex! Look at how they are calling your name!" She said enthusiastically trying to lure him to have the cookies, "Come on now, dont be so stubborn Allie. Have it!"
She could sell her soul to the devil to avoid doing homeworks, feeding Alex jinxed cookies was nothing compared to her wicked ideas. Alex might know the possibilities of Ira's pranks but he doesnt know the degree to which these pranks might vary. Sure, they are harmless except that they have the ability to annoy the crap out of him. Quite literally right now.

"If you're trying to hex me with your cookie, yes, I will say no." Alex says with his usual monotone, picking up the cookie to examine it before placing it back again, unimpressed. Alex may be clueless about one's behaviour, but with Ira? It won't go unnoticed. Ever. He looks at her skeptically, studying the way she pouts. Not today, sly fox.
Alex then points at the plate, "Why don't you try it first, hm? Looks tasty enough to me." he asks, tilting his head to the side slightly, raising a brow. If the cookie really is harmless to eat, Ira will eat it with absolutely no problem, but if it's the other way around, why should he eat it?
"You love cookies too, no? I think they were calling out your name rather than mine. See?" Alex then gestures at the perfectly static cookies. "They're crying out for you." He nods his head, face still as a stone.
"Are you still up for my tutoring lesson or not?" he sighs, lips forming a small, thin line. Alex won't get distracted by Ira again! he straightens his back again, shoulders back, with his hands clasped together as if he's interrogating her instead of talking normally. "Time is ticking, Ira Ray." He added. Even though his face doesn't show much of what he's thinking, there's a slight mischievousness in his eyes.

Ira was dumbfounded at his intelligence. Fair enough, he understands her more than anyone at school. Ira definitely doesn't like to lose though. She feels defeated and sort of humiliated but its only her pride that makes her feel this way.Ira Ray______________________________________

"You are no fun Alex! Why must you understand my super impressive tactics all the time? Am I that transparent to you?" she said pouting and taking back the plate of cookies and tucking them away into the packet where they originally came from. "I swear in the name of Merlin's old socks, you will perish you little Snake!"
Ira has an explicit knack of messing with people. She loves the look on their faces when they angrily retire from their slumber and give in to her stubbornness. This doesn't always work out with this particular cunning guy. Therefore the role reversal.
Ira gave another dismissing look at the unfinished homework in front of her, grabbed the quill in utmost hatred from her heart and looked at Alex, her nose scrunched, eyes brimming with 'why must you do this to me' look.
"Why do you always have to boss me around? Ughh... who even takes these lessons seriously, apart from you the legendary scholar Mr. Alex Kavanagh?" she teased in a dramatic voice, "This is the last time I swear. I am only doing this because you are my best friend. Next time I will hundred percent get you!" she scowled returning to the questions given by the teacher.
