Corrine quietly stands up, wincing slightly as her head pounds. Nevertheless, she flashes her friends a soft smile of reassurance. “I’m glad neither of you got hurt.” She hums, turning to Wolfe and returning his book. She bends down again to make her trunk stand up on its wheels, considering that she has to grab her robes from them regardless.

However, before she could, her attention is caught by an approaching voice, which seems to be just a compartment or two away. “Anything from the trolley, dearies? I’ve got pumpkin pasties, chocolate frogs..”

It’s the trolley witch! Corrine perks up, excited. She quickly brushes off whatever dust had gathered on her cardigan and her long, flowy skirt, reaching for her messenger bag to grab her money pouch. She’s been dying for some sweets all morning, especially since they left the station. She can already imagine the familiar taste of sweet, chocolate frogs.. as well as a nice card surprise for her collection!

In her excitement, Corrine turns to Robin, about to ask in excitement if the boy wants anything from the cart.. only to see that he was asleep. She blinks, surprised by how quickly the boy fell asleep.

He must’ve been tired, She thinks to herself, her eyes softening. I’ll just get him one or two of everything, see if he likes any of them. Wolfe too. Wordlessly, she shrugs off her green oversized cardigan, gingerly draping it over Robin’s asleep form. The scent of faint vanilla lingers on it, which she hopes the boy doesn’t mind or isn’t allergic to. She makes extra care not to disturb him or startle him awake, her touch barely lingering.

When she finishes, she turns to Wolfe with a smile. “I’m gonna buy myself several chocolate frogs, and I’m planning to buy a few things for Robin too since he’s asleep. Do you want anything when the trolley witch gets here?”

"In every life, through every door. . . I hope to meet y0u again."

"Ah, thank you, but I'd better not. Mum warned me that too many sweets will fill me up before dinner tonight. I had a few gummy worms a while ago." He pauses as if deep in thought for a moment. "I hope they have roast tonight. Reckon if it's like my mum's or not?" Wolfe says, reminiscing his mother's cooking already. His mouth would be drooling if he had been a cartoon character they showed in primary school.

While Corrine gets her candy, he quietly pulls down his trunk to pull out his school robes. He tries to remain quiet to not wake up the other boy. He'd have to make sure to get him up in time to change before they reached the castle. He had a feeling that Robin wouldn't like to be late. He closed and locked the latch before putting his trunk back up on the rack where it was before. Wolfe took a seat again and picked up his book once more.
"I hope the three of us will have some classes together, if not houses. You two are nice to talk to, 'ya know?" He smiles. "You guys let me nervously ramble on without making me feel awkward. I hope we all can be good friends."

Corrine giggles along to Wolfe’s statement. She understands what he meant; her grandpa had constantly joked that the only reason she’s able to eat so much (like the proper foodie she was) is only because her stomach is bottomless. Otherwise, her grandma would’ve chided her constantly for eating so much and possibly filling her up before meals.

“I get it,” she nods. “Well, if you ever change your mind, you can always tell me. I don’t mind getting up to look for the trolley lady.. and I probably will regardless to get more food,” She mumbles the last part under her breath, embarrassed by her love of food and eating.

When the girl comes back, Wolfe is patiently waiting on his seat, reading his book. He only looked up when Corrine had entered, seeing that she was holding two pouches. One was probably for Robin, as she decided to quietly put it away in her bag.

I wish I could’ve gotten more, she thinks sadly to herself. But I don’t want to scare them both off. Maybe I should’ve and just hid it away somewhere in my bag.. but I don’t know if that would’ve worked. My bag doesn't have enough space. Subtly, a pout comes on her face.

“I hope the three of us will have some classes together, if not houses. You two are nice to talk to, ‘ya know?” Wolfe says, snapping Corrine out of her inner complaints. The pout fades into a shy smile, and she nods in agreement.

“I hope we become good friends too, even if we’re not in the same house.. or in the same classes.” Corrine mumbles. “You guys are the first friends I’ve made in a few years, and you’re both so nice.”

"In every life, through every door. . . I hope to meet y0u again."

Shite. Robin Arthur Lockett you right dobber. The boy was born and raised in Scotland, but his parents were both from England so they didn't use Scottish slang and didn't even develop that big of a Scottish accent over the years. He did, however, learn a lot from his dear friend Noah, who's quite the swearer when his parents aren't around. Now Robin had the tendency to be "more Scottish" when he's drowsy, half-unconscious, or in shock. Currently it's the third situation.

He wasn't asleep, really. He just didn't want to talk to the trolly witch because he didn't want to purchase anything but also didn't want to refuse her. That's why he closed his eyes to fake unresponsiveness. When he felt a soft piece of fabric lay on him - most being over his clothes but some on his skin - Robin panicked. He tried his best to not have any reaction, and in his mind he's successful, though he can't see what he looks like from a different perspective so that isn't for sure. He decided to keep pretending he's asleep until Corrine takes her cardigan back, or when someone directly calls for him.

You are asleep. You are asleep. You are asleep . . .

Robin's heart is pounding with nervousness and embarrassment, he took a deep breath disguised as a snore to calm it down. Hope I'm not sodding blushing . . . In his head, this will be forever known as "the trolly incident" - the time he was insanely close to social death.

After the initial shock, he started listening to his surroundings. Any movements near him or what the others were talking about, but he completely tapped out of the conversation. When the two were exchanging their thought on how they were so nice to each other and would like to continue to be friends, he had the urge to chime in and say "me too btw" but resisted. He committed to his act and stayed in place. Still hours left till we get to Hogwarts. Well, I might just really fall asleep and be rid of this torture–

He didn't.
