Ok Thanks!Avery Gray wrote: 9 Feb 2026, 15:36I do know that one girl did kill off her character because she wanted to deactivate. It was a simple death that wasn't going into detail. She choked on fries. Site rating allows death/murder as far as I know if you don't go into a lot of detail.Julia Evans wrote: 9 Feb 2026, 15:32So that is a potential RP storyline? If someone wishes to deactivate, the can RP their character dying? Is this allowed by the sites rating???? Or is murder allowed?Avery Gray wrote: 8 Feb 2026, 15:27Yes, but once a character dies, they cannot be brought back to life. Basically, your dead character will be deactivated and if you have been on the site for at least six months you will create a new character, but if you haven't been on the site for at least six months you have to wait until you hit the six month mark to create a new character.Lauren Wong wrote: 8 Feb 2026, 14:41 Since we are on the topic of dead characters, can a character die?![]()

@Julia Evans It is allowed as long as you can make it impactful, but not excessively graphic, such as extreme physical description of violence/torture.
But you also must be aware that there are many ways to put the IC reason why you deactivate your character. Sometimes we want to go back to play our deactivated character, and it's not an uncommon occurrence here. Once you choose death as the IC reason, you must know that it will not make sense at all to bring them back if you want to reactivate the character.

Still talking about dark wizards, how do their crimes work? How do they commit them? And do they go to Azkaban instantly, or is there some kind of procedure for it?
Remember faith and love, these will be your most powerful spells.

In real life, my house is also Ravenclaw. **

We have a prison system found here, that covers your questions in-depth, at least on the player side! But for a quick rundown: characters can commit crimes within the site rating. How they're committed will vary from character to character, no one else dictates that. Depending on where the crime takes place/if there are witnesses/if players consent, then yes there is a possibility that a character may be arrested on the spot. For players, the prison system is largely consent based, but still provides an opportunity for someone to play bad characters and face consequences for their actions.
As far as prison goes for NPC dark wizards, they can be treated in whatever way suits a narrative.
