Slytherin is represented by a serpent, why? Because Salazar was a parselmouth, and people think that parselmouths are always evil. But no, the only flaw about him was that he was prejudice, and was a pure-blood mania. But that was just his belief.

And some people would say that he used dark magic, but really there is no such thing as dark magic. What people classify dark magic is magic that does harm. But really magic is just magic. The difference though is how said magic is used or intended to be used.

Salazar Slytherin was not only an accomplished parselmouth, but he is also a legilismens. So he could basically read your mind. He was also well trained in occlumency, the ability to protect his mind. He was skilled in so many different forms of magic.

He even created an entire secret area under the school without any of the other founders noticing. Tons of Slytherins become well known and very powerful wizards (such as Voldemort).

So that is why I think that Slytherin is the best house.

Honestly, all houses are good, only the people in them can be bad. All the houses have great qualities, Slytherin: ambitious, Hufflepuff: just and kind, Ravenclaw: wit and knowledge and Gryffindor: bravery and courage

Buuuutt ooc Im totally choosing hufflepuff. Even tho I've never been put into hufflepuff so far every hufflepuff Ive met was super sweet, kind, caring and considerate. Including many Huffie's on here and my own mother!
