ooo~ I mean, very controversial subject.
But in my mind, so long as we're staying in the EPIC fandom and not the actual oddessy, her only fault is keeping odysseus on her Island.
She was lonely and he was probably the first person she had talked to in ages, so I sympathize with her but still think her actions weren't right. Especially after he kept telling her he was married and wanted to go back to his wife.

I'm kinda upset with her actions but understand her feelings. It was heavily implied, even in Epic, that she tried to force herself upon him, and I can't forgive her for that.
But I don't really think she knew any better, she clearly said that in her second song: "cuz u're all I've ever known", she might've never realized it wasn't ok(which doesn't excuse her completely). Plus it doesn't seem like she actually managed to act it out, I don't think Odysseus would've said "I love u" if she had...
She's also really lonely, and doesn't see wrong and right as we do I've seen ppl say that her "anyways" after his "she's my wife" was simply becuz she thought marriage had no meaning— the only world she knows is the gods' world, and for most of them marriage is nothing, and forcing one upon another is also a regular occurrence for them(ehm ehm Zeus)
And yet, she did understand at some point that he wasn't interested and still kept him as her own..

So I can't really decide what I think of her😭 just as Graci said, very controversial 😭
But I love her voiceee and she did give us a beautiful song, I'll give her that💃

I love Barbara, she seems so nice and I love her voicee! she was perfect as calypso

I agree with the points about the character though, especially in the actual odyssey - I understand but I don't think it was right either

In addition to this, I was thinking of making it like a little playlist on Hio (with all the fanart and parodies to go with), so those who aren't familiar with the musical can discover it and listen to it with some notes and art to go with, and those who are familiar can have a little laugh I think it'd be fun for us to do, too! Now most people on Hio will at least know what EPIC the musical is.. or at least that's the goal... we shall enlighten them

honestly? I started wheezing.. I love that i'm all for it (although we should probably add the real title in too smh).... and dw dw you should see some of the greek mythology related things I write at 11 pm omg


I think adding something about the motifs would be cool too! [insert strangling music nerd]

A motifs section would be good, but It's a lot of info so I might just leave that to you, hehe.

Anyway, there are a LOT of characters in EPIC, so this might take me a bit. I'm going to add photos, so would you like them to be funny ones or not? (Because I found an adorable picture of Ody)
