Practice with me?
Taking deep breaths, Amelia considered his suggestion, while getting off her broom and sitting on the ground, crossing her legs.
Broom racing did sound like fun— flying as fast as possible, just the way she liked. But she wasn't sure she was ready for this yet, and racing would probably stress her out anyway, with the competition and the fact that she wasn't such a good flyer, for now. It wouldn't be as carefree as simple flying, and she might fall off, too.
"Nah, broom racing might be too difficult now. Maybe one day in the future, when I'm better at it." She said with a smile, hoping to reach that day at some point in life, to be able to fly like a professional.
Her stomach wasn't having it, though. She thought back longingly about the breakfast she had this morning, and her stomach had hinted that another breakfast would be very appreciated. "And anyways, aren't you hungry? All this exercising is a bit exhausting, makes me really hungry." Amelia said apologetically. Her limbs felt a bit numb and sore from sitting on a broom for so long, longing for a good rest. She had never practiced flying so much, not without a break.

Practice with me?
It was a good practice session; Amelia could feel that in her bones. Or maybe it was just exhaustion, what she was feeling... It was useful, however. She learned some things she hadn't known before about flying and broom control, and had another thrilling memory of flying stored in her mind. Overall, the exhaustion was worth it.
After bidding goodbye and thanking Mateo, Amelia headed to the broom shed, leaving Mateo to fly around the pitch as he liked(and probably as he had planned to, before she interfered). It was nice getting to know him, even if it was only for one day, as he would go back to his own school soon. Perhaps he'd visit Hogwarts in the future again, and maybe she'd be a better flyer by then.
Putting the broom back in place, she tried to make it look less ruffled and more presentable, as if it didn't just fly at high speeds in the wind. She considered just staying there, to let herself rest. But again, her stomach reminded her what the real destination was: breakfast.
Walking out of the broom shed with a sigh, she headed to the Great Hall. Perhaps she could get another meal, then collapse on her bed and sleep. It was a good start for the day, but Amelia wasn't sure she could keep going on with this day, not with her eyelids drooping every other minute.
