He happy with the way everything returns to a easy going chatting. It also nice for Ira to give chocolate to everyone, he hope to be able to return the kindness. He lay back to his seat and began to carefully observe the interaction, while he unpack his barre. Mm! It definitely delicious He is now in a better mood, he wonder if his sister and his best friends are looking for him. Tossing the thought, he returns to the information he have gather.

Ira, she have a pretty easy going front, but sometimes he could have a glance of the uneasiness she displayed underneath. But he still think she is really kind and would like to talk about herbology.

Avis, she kinda have a energy in her like the flame of a salamander, fallow with a bold and curious side. He wonder what it would look like a debate between them.

Jade, she is shy and quiet a the moment but it must be because of the new world she is introduced. He can wait to show her everything.

Kora, mostly reserved but it seem she love snake and probably other animals. He would love to have knowledge discussions about magical creature with her.

Just to think about magical creature, his hand is itching to write in his book. Not a minute later, he could hear a knock on their door. It opens itself to reveal a woman in her end of thirty, with a cart full of candy.

Is there anyone who would like to buy a treat?

Ira let out an internal sigh of relief as Avis seemed alright with waiting. Of course, she’d have to give in at some point, sooner or later, during this long train ride. Ira returned a genuine smile in Jade's direction, glad when she found Jade finally at ease.

Ira listened when Avis asked Jade about the Muggle world, intrigued by what Jade might say. Still, she wasn’t planning to focus much. She couldn't see how it might relate to her own life. It probably will be information she'll hardly find useful for her life.

There was a knock at the door, and a woman appeared but Ira barely focused on her as her attention was instantly drawn to the cart of candies the women brought along. Her eyes sparkled with instant delight.

"Yes!" she exclaimed, plunging her hands into her trunk and fishing out her purse. Fishing out a handful of sickles from her parents and grandfather, Ira turned back to the woman with a bright smile.

"I’d like one packet each of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans, Ice Mice, and Jelly Slugs!" She handed over the sickles after ordering those. With her treats secured, Ira turned her attention to the others, curious about their choices.

“Oh, brilliant!” Avis said in response to Jade’s quiet agreement to letting her ask some questions. She cleared her throat thinking through the long list of curiosities she’d wondered about from the Muggle world. “Ok, first of all, are superheroes real? Say… Batman or Spiderman? And why are they all named after rather unsavory creatures…” Avis trailed off as the sweets trolley lady appeared in the doorway. She’d passed the cart by when given the opportunity before but she wouldn’t pass it up this time.

Pulling a few sickles out, she asked for a Sugar Quill and a packet of Sherbet Lemons and a few moments later, she found herself munching on her newfound sweets. She held up one of the Lemons to Jade.

“Definitely recommend one of these and if you haven’t got any Chocolate Frog cards yet, now’s a good time to start!” she suggested through a mouthful of sugar. She glanced at Ira’s selection and widened her eyes at the Jelly Slugs. “Haven’t seen one of those in awhile. My brother threw one up once and I don’t think a Jelly Slug has seen the inside of our house since, ‘specially cause Mam had to clean it up,” she shuddered. At the time it had been rather horrific but since then, the whole family tended to tease Will about it mercilessly. She chuckled at the memory.

Ah. Made up. It made sense, of course, and Avis felt rather silly for asking but she nodded along anyway. Comics and movies were both foreign terms to her as well, but she decided to leave that part out after her first question. She didn't want anyone to think she was completely clueless... although she was. Growing up outside a Muggle town had introduced her to simple things like cars and electricity but she hadn't really cared to research them in any sort of depth until she learned that wizards could be Muggle-born. Now that caught her curiosity.

She laughed at Jade's description of the heroes' names. "Not very creative, these comic Muggles," Avis giggled. "Are you a... hero fan?" she questioned after Jade asked if she wanted to know anything else. "And... oh! Did you happen to bring any Muggle candy? My best friend from home said she tried a KatKit once! Or was it a KitKat?" Avis mumbled, punching herself internally for potentially screwing up the name. Bollocks, now I look like a complete ninny.

The pop of bubblegum interrupted her thoughts and Kora asked where everyone had come from. Avis smiled proudly at this question. She may have been from a small town, but she loved it dearly.

"Wicklow. Ireland. I live right next to the Irish Sea. My house is right on the cliffs above the waves!" she said with a fond smile. "You're a bit south of me, I think," she mentioned to Kora.

Everyone begins to purchase their sweet, while him still struggles to chose one. At least he wasn't the only one, since Jade also have difficulty to pick one. His eyes slightly wide at the quantity of candy Ira have. He doesn't really like eating much sugar because it make him have a boost of energy, then to suddenly have a shut down. I don't want to be half dead for the shorting ceremony. What a bitter thought. He already have a chocolate barre earlier, so he will just pick one that not to bad.

"May I also have one packet Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans please."

He opens his little bag that was at his feet and take the right amount of sickles, to after hand it over at the women. She seem a little bit startled when they make eyes contact but continues with the exchange. She close the door after giving a smile to everyone. It always a wonder about that treat for the different flavors it have. His family sometime buy it so they can play the poker face game, as they try to guess the person if they eat a good or bad one. He is the worst player of the family but it so fun. He could still hear the dynamics conversation of Jade and Avis, when he hear Kora aske a question.

“I’m from Cornwall where are the rest of you from then”

So she from England and at the completely south of it. They both are a the extreme of the United Kingdom territory.

"Wicklow. Ireland. I live right next to the Irish Sea. My house is right on the cliffs above the waves! You're a bit south of me, I think,"

Avis also is south of him. What a view her house must have with the ocean just underneath them. He turns to the girls so he can answer.

"I live at Perth in Scotland, surrounded by forest and field, so I'm bit jealous of the view you have on the ocean." He said with a light chuckle toward Avis. He also take a glance at Ira and Jade for their answers.

Ira’s eyes flickered between her candy stash and the boy beside her, noticing the way his eyes widened for a bit. Had he forgotten to grab something before the lady left? With a knowing smile, she leaned in a little. "Feel free to take one if you want. I’ve got plenty to spare," she murmured softly.

"Oh, I used to collect them," Ira began, her eyes lighting up at the memory. "I actually managed to get more than half of the chocolate frog cards— until my cousin wiped me out in a challenge" She pressed her lips together in mock annoyance.

"Oh no," Ira let out a light laugh, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. "Sounds like a traumatic Jelly Slug encounter," Ira joked. "But hey, Jelly Slugs might deserve a second chance, don’t you think?" Ira added with a playful grin, holding out her packet toward Avis invitingly.

Though the superhero chatter didn’t hold her interest, Ira's ears perked up at the mention of chocolates. She turned to Jade, her curiosity evident, "Chocolates, you say? What are they like? Are Muggle chocolates any different?"

Ira listened, filing away little details about her compartment mates with a slight nod and a small smile as each person described their home. "I’m from Gloucestershire, England. It is quiet, green, and full of countryside. Our mansion is secluded— tucked far away where no muggle could stumble upon it, not even by accident," Ira added.

"Oh yeah, the view's brilliant," Avis replied to to the boy as he talked about his place of origin. "It doesn't always smell extremely pleasant though. A little too fishy sometimes," she said, wrinkling her nose and catching a faint whiff of ocean air through her memories. She sighed, not quite believing that she wouldn't see it for another 4 months. She'd never been away from home for this long and it was quite daunting, but at least she'd already met a few nice kids, even if her brother had abandoned her.

At Ira's mention of Chocolate Frog cards, Avis perked up. She flashed an excited smile at the dark featured girl and started digging through her satchel. "Right then, what've you got left in your collection? Any rare ones?" she asked, her fingers finding the rigid edges of her card collection. She pulled a few out and began to rifle through them, looking for her most valuable ones. "I've almost got the entire Weird Sisters band. Just missing two I think!"

As they got to the topic of Jelly Slugs, Avis swallowed and made a face. She looked at the packet dubiously and decided she wasn't one to back down from a challenge. Hesitantly the girl took the packet and popped it open, gazing at the colorful gummies inside. Right.

Slowly, she pulled a yellow one out and studied it carefully before shoving into her mouth all in one go, not wanting to savor the slimy feeling in her mouth. She grimaced as she chewed and swallowed with a disgusted expression. "Yeah, I think it's always gonna remind me of-" Avis started, before her eyes widened and she clapped her hand to her mouth. "I think I'm gonna be sick," she moaned, trying desperately to keep the slug down. She gagged, but managed to hold it together as her eyes watered profusely. I can't be the Jelly Slug girl. No shot. Get it together, Avis.

Finally, the urge to gag died down and she gave Ira a half-hearted smile, relieved she hadn't yacked all over her new friends. "Well, I guess now we know for sure," she joked weakly, her face still a light shade of green. Perhaps the rocking train had made it worse, but she hoped her stomach would return back to normal quickly unless she wanted to vomit right into the Sorting Hat.

As Jade offered everyone a 'Twix', Avis sadly declined. "I don't think I can keep anything down after that. But I'll find you later at school for one," she mumbled with a small smile. Merlin, this was embarrassing.

When Jade mentioned Dublin, Avis smiled. "You're an hour north of me by broom!" she said excitedly. She knew she'd recognized the girl's accent from somewhere close by, but it all clicked when she mentioned Ireland's capitol city. It was rather comforting to meet someone of the same nationality, although they weren't quite from the same place. It was close enough.

The train lurched as they went around a sharp corner and Avis glanced out the window. They must be getting close by now. The Scottish highlands spread out far into the horizon and Avis gazed at the scenery, excitement growing in her chest.
