Thoughts: italicsAs Regina would likely soon find out, Kaitlyn didn’t go back on her word. If she promised something, she’d follow through. Considering she wore sandals the day she found Demeter, despite the cold weather outside, it was not a far stretch for her to do so again. It helped that she found her sandals to be comfortable. While she didn't understand the squimish behavior about feet, she picked up on the social cue that Regina didn’t want to continue talking about it. As such, she kept her mouth shut. After all, she was trying to make a friend.
Kaitlyn giggled and nodded. “Ok. I’ll be careful,” she smiled brightly. Once Regina moved Cosmo over, she gently lifted her hand to scratch behind Cosmo’s ears, gingerly at first to not upset her friend’s cat. She made round circular movements with her nails. She smiled brightly, hoping Cosmo enjoyed the scratch.
At Regina’s statement, Kaitlyn nodded. “I completely agree. May I ask, how much do you plan out each day? You should see the organization I have with my notes and revisions. I like to make them look textbook quality,” she giggled. She smiled brightly at Regina’s next words. “Aw, thank you. I’m glad that we have this chance to talk. I'm enjoy talking to you like this. And, um … Hey Regina. We don’t have to just draw together. If you’d like, we can study together? Or even hang out together? If you want, of course. I don’t want you to feel pressured,” she gave Regina a hopeful smile.Reducio

Regina, being an extreme introvert, looked away uncertainly as Kaitlyn mentioned about meeting up another time.
"Well... I- uh," she started packing up to spare herself from the awkward silence as the other waited for a response. She would very much like to refuse and move on, but this slytherin girl doesn't seem all bad. She's better than most other kids, in fact.
Regina pondered. Studying or drawing together don't feel that bad, honestly. Besides, Kaitlyn isn't the talkative type of person. Maybe they'll do their work seperately, and leave Regina alone to thrive in her own thoughts? She felt much more confident in her answer after thinking this way.
Finally, the young ravenclaw finished calculating her next move. She gave the other girl a small nod, while hoping she wouldn't regret this herself.
Her sister would be gaping if she heard about this, and without a doubt, she'd be telling Flora and father. She can imagine Bellus's smug face as she asked her about her new friend.
"My notes aren't too well done," she responded plainly to the girl's previous question, and eyed her own messy and abstract painting of the field. It was clear her notes wouldn't be any different.
Well, she thought, at least she understands her own way of thinkning. It's not like her notes is to be shared by the class.

Thoughts: italicsA light flush bloomed on Kaitlyn’s cheeks at Regina’s silence at first. But she didn’t say anything yet. It wasn’t her style to start questioning what someone else did. Instead, she let the Ravenclaw consider her thoughts. She noticed the Ravenclaw girl start to pack up, hoping she didn’t say anything wrong. Unless it had something to do with the feet topic before? Perhaps she shouldn’t have talked about loving wearing sandals? She wore them as much as she could get away with it, finding them comfortable. Being nowhere near a social butterfly who lacked confidence, she didn’t know much of what to say.
The young Slytherin let her hand play with her pigtail braids. Kaitlyn looked at her feet. She looked up briefly and noticed the small nod from Regina. She visibly brightened and smiled. “Yay! Thank you! I can’t wait! I promise not to be a nuisance to you,” she replied quietly. Despite being bad at social interaction, she knew that she wanted to try her best at making friends.
Kaitlyn nodded at Regina’s answer. “That’s alright. All that matters is that your notes work for you,” she continued, giving Regina a friendly smile. Her blue eyes glanced at the girl’s art on the grounds below. She quite enjoyed art. It would take a lot for her to critique a piece of art. “I like your painting. I like how it’s abstract, and what you prioritized to show.”Reducio

Regina nodded in thanks, feeling lighter than usual. She had never received so many compliments in one day. It made her happy, knowing somebody out there appreciates her work. Though it was also driving her insane. Was she supposed to return a compliment, or just leave it as a thank-you?
The young RavenClaw felt the need to walk away. She didn’t understand where this conversation is heading off to. Maybe Kaitlyn did, maybe everyone else did but her. Or, maybe they both had no idea on what was going on. Regina really couldn’t care less about the others, all she knew was that Ravenclaws- or her specifically, don’t do well with unsolvable questions…
Regina pre-calculated a well fabricated lie, saying how she had to head to another class. Then, without giving her new friend a chance to question, she grabbed her stuff, and silently walked away.
Though, after three steps, Regina paused and turned back. She couldn’t leave without a word to her only friend. She had spent so much time trying to figure out the whole thing with friendship, and to abandon all her progress would be ridiculous!
“Same time and place, tomorrow?” She asked while shifting her painting palettes and the cat between her hands, her voice hushed and uncertain.

Thoughts: italicsKaitlyn offered Regina a kind smile. When it came to making friends at Hogwarts, she never had an expectation. Any expectation she would initially have had was thrown out the window back in her first year. She typically came across as polite and had to come to terms with the fact that most of the students at Hogwarts didn’t interact in the same fashion. That didn’t mean that she had to throw her entire etiquette training out the window. It just meant that if she wished to make friends, like she hoped to do so, she had to be more open to others who didn’t behave like her.
If she were to be honest, Kaitlyn just wanted other people to like her. Regina seemed pretty cool to her, so she wanted to try her best to make friends with the Ravenclaw girl. If only her shyness and lack of socialization skills wouldn’t get in her way and delude her mind.
At Regina’s mention of going to a class, Kaitlyn nodded. “Good luck in class,” she replied. As the other girl started to walk away, Kaitlyn stayed to pack up her supplies. She was satisfied with her artwork so far, which was always a benefit. She tried her best at doing so, of course! It would be a shame if she couldn’t get it correct, especially with how slow she could be.
Yet, Kaitlyn didn’t get too far with her packing, as Regina turned around to say something to her. She looked up at her new friend and smiled pleasantly. “I’d like to, yes, please. I can’t wait,” she giggled, her voice friendly. She liked the idea of hanging out with Regina again, and she hoped they could build on their friendship over time.Reducio
