Potions Class
Three things were tormenting Scott's mind as he pushed all he could against the door:
Violent rats, aching legs, and Kaegen.
The Ravenclaw boy had stayed behind.. or at least that's what Scott hoped, because there was still the terrifying thought of Scott having shut the door too fast in the blur- and that some of the brutal hits against it now was in fact his fellow student trying to get inside. The thought of that alone was enough for Scott to want to open the door completely, his consciousness killing him.. but he had one job. All he figured he could do now was pray to whichever god that Valtome wouldn't let anything happen to him.
Maybe he'd even make it himself. He was clever, must be, otherwise he wouldn't be here.
Ravenclaws..
Scott stretched his legs against the floor once more with a groan, and tried to see how far the others had come in searching for a way out. Eris was being mean, he noticed, but Scott couldn't exactly blame her. In fact, he wasn't sure if he could blame any of them for anything at all as long as their position stayed like this. He just hoped her intensity was useful in relieving the situation.
"Gah! Come on, an progress?" He didn't mean to sound impatient, he knew that never did any good, hopeful had actually been more what he'd been going for. That is because now, the Ravenclaw girl seemed to be on to something.
She was studying the wall, details on which Scott couldn't see from where he was stood. It was like she was reading, and thinking intensively about every word.
The others' must've noticed it, too.
"W-what is it? What's that?" But he gave up on his voice as it broke into whines. As difficult as it was to leave a puzzle for somebody else to solve, they'd have to figure it out.
