I definitely understand that your house doesn't define who you are. The reason I brought that up was to show how unfair it is. Merlin was a part of King Arthur's Court, which is amazing, and he was sorted into Slytherin. He was opposed to the Dark Arts. He was a good Slytherin.

I'm glad you understand my point. But some people like to assume what people in a house will become or act like. Its all about sterotypes. Slytherin's are seen as bad people. Gryffindor's are seen as brave people and heros. Ravenclaw's are seen as smart people. And Hufflepuff's are seen as loyal people. But, I don't see it like that. Also, sorry if I got your house sterotype wrong.

Exactly! And to build off of my previous letter, Gryffindors aren't all heroes. Peter Pettigrew was a Death Eater. Then there's Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. Both of which are sadly unappreciated. But they produced evil wizards as well. Quirinus Quirrell came from my house, but Hufflepuff's are really nice. I can't think of any evil ones, just not-so-great-ones that complain and are afraid of a lot.

That is definitely true. I think Pettigrew is the only one in Gryffindor who turned out to be evil. Oh, ya, my brother told me all about Quirrell. Its sad how people don't like Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. I like all the houses equally. How I view things is pretty much completely different then other people, but we might view the houses the same way.

I guess Gryffindor and Slytherin get all the glory for being simply the good and the bad. But Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff are also important, yet they often get passed over. Without strategy and teamwork, though, no one would win. I suppose our houses are more of the structure than the shiny part.

Ya, your right. But again, its about how people view the four houses. Its also about the stereotypes of each house as well. But, honestly the people that are following the stereotypes don't know about how each individual in one house might be feeling. But, no one can change how someone thinks.

I agree. Views and opinions can change a lot of topics. Also, yep, some people have a hard time understanding others. I kind of feel bad for Slytherins. Some of them are only eleven, yet we treat them like criminal masterminds or something. There's no guarantee they'll be evil. Maybe they'll become the best professor Hogwarts has ever seen.

Yep, they can for sure. I also feel bad for the Slytherins. I wonder what'd happen to me if I were sorted into Slytherin. Hopefully no one will think I'm evil or anything. Seven, what d'you think would've happened if I was sorted into Slytherin? I'm curious to know your opinion on how people would view me if I were in Slytherin.

If I had been sorted into Slytheirn, I'm sure I would've made friends, but I think it would be harder than if I was in Ravenclaw, like I am now. I would still want to be your friend whether you were in Hufflepuff or Slytherin. (Sorry if that sounded cheesy.)

Honestly, I agree with you, but I still think I'll be able to friends like I am right now. I don't think it'll be any different for me. Like you, I would also be your friend no matter the house you get sorted into. Like I have said before, I don't look at someone's house and judge them, I wait for them to tell me who they are.
