"Incendio!" Zach casted the spell toward Duvessa Ember, the Slytherin student. And the next thing that happened was the spell hit her successfully. Zach could not help but smile when he saw it. The little fire burned her robes. However, Zach somewhat felt a little sorry for Duvessa but it was competition. They were there to win something. So Zach pressed his sorry feeling and hoped Duvessa was okay. The fire still seemed to dance on her robes.

The Ravenclaw looked at the other opponent. Raizel also cast the same spell as him toward Duvessa. And the result was the spell hit Duvessa successfully. [color=Midnight Blue]"Ouch!"[/color] Zach slightly closed his eyes when he saw the fire hit Duvessa. This round, Zach could be more relaxed because there were not any spells that hit him. He grabbed his wand tightly and prepared his stance. He was closing his eyes and thinking quickly about what move he should do next. Should he target Duvessa which in her unfortunate position again? Or should he change the target to Raizel? He could the blood rush quickly in his body. His choices determined his condition in the next round. He opened his eyes again and did his next action.

Two targets but she could only choose one on who to attack. Her gaze fell on the Ravenclaw for a brief moment and then to the Slytherin, her grip on her wand tightening as she thought about her next move. She raised her arm, making a quick gesture with her eyes on her target and that's the Slytherin that's been attacking her for quite some time now. It is time to pay her back for that Fire-making spell.

"Incendio!" She casted, the spell coming out better than the Extinguishing Charm that she casted earlier, perhaps just as good as her Arresto Momentum. The jet of flame shot out of her wand, heading straight for Duvessa along with another that had came from Zach's wand. Looks like the both of them decided to take advantage of the slowing charm that's still affecting Duvessa. She grinned when both attacks connected and while hers didn't set Duvessa on fire, Zach's spell did.

"Not bad." She remarked with a smile, looking over to Zach and then back to the Slytherin. There was something strange in this round though. Duvessa didn't make any move, not casting any spell. Distracted? The slowing charm is getting to her? Or maybe, she's coming up with a new strategy? They better not let their guard down just yet then. What matters though is that they at least managed to cause some damage on her and Zach even set her on fire.

Duvessa Nyx Ember failed to cast once more. 'I suppose this is the new strategy, huh?' Amaris teased with a grin yet also a small frown. 'You planning to start are new fad among the duellists?' Amaris had watched the duel between Pea Elena Fowl (that beautiful beautiful albino part-Veela, goodness) and Avery Leveret against Vanessa Swansea and Aurora Griffith. Vanessa had not casted at all, while Aurora was more in and off. Seemed like standing still was a valid move.

Still, it didn't matter anymore. With a flick of her hand and a hook, a Flipendo exploded from Raizel's wand. It was performed to near perfection, even better than Zach's Incendio in the previous duel. Yet her aim was off- way off. Perhaps after the near-perfect cast, Raizel's power was used up. Even though Duvessa was still suffering from the Arresto Momentum, fate was on her side and she dodged it almost effortlessly. 'Do you want to lose to someone with Arresto Momentum?' Amaris said, pretending her anger before bursting out laughing.

Yet as Zach casted the spell, which was Flipendo as well, judging from his hand movement and the start of the incantation, Amaris somehow knew that it would hit Duvessa. 'Halt!' Amaris said, standing in front of Zach and holding out a hand. 'As we've agreed on, if one of us in too much danger, I will stop you.' She turned to Duvessa with a slightly apologetic glance, 'You're out of the duel. I hope you can make it to the Hospital Wing yourself.'

If Duvessa would leave, than Amaris would shout, 'Countinue! and watch with absolute excitement as the duel commenced once again.

The Slowing Charm that was cast toward Duvessa by Raizel from rounds ago seemed still had its impact on her. Duvessa did not take any action from then. It truly made Zach worried for her. Zach grabbed his wand and pointed it toward the Slytherin girl, "Flipendo!" The spell hit her successfully. The most surprising thing was Raizel, the Gryffindor girl, also cast the same spell as him this round. It was like they shared the same brain cell for a moment. Amaris stopped the duel for some seconds because Duvessa condition was in dangerous state. "Is she okay?" Zach thought, could not help but worried about Duvessa condition even though they had never talked before and this duel was his first time interacting with her. But as people said, the show must go on, or in this case, the duel must go on.

When Duvessa left the Duelling Club, the only opponent Zach must face was Raizel. He grabbed his wand tightly to prevent it to slip from his hand because his hand was sweating a lot. Raizel was a smart girl and she even knew a Second Year spell. To be honest, Zach did not expect to win this duel since she cast the Second Year spell. However, Zach still tried to give his best in this duel.

As the duel goes on, it continues to get interesting for the Gryffindor and when things get too interesting, Raizel could get too carried away, the adrenaline rush getting the better of her and while it does sometimes help in conjuring up powerful spells, sometimes it leads to failure and miscalculations.

A well casted Flipendo, almost perfect, had left her wand as soon as she made the gesture and enunciated its incantation. She could almost feel its power when it was fired, something that she wasn’t expecting. That had completely caught her off guard and her spell didn’t find its mark on her intended target. “Heh, not the first time I missed someone under that spell.” That was her worst nightmare in a duel. Someone is already under the Slowing Charm and here she is, still missing. Embarrassing, frustrating.

Perhaps that was a blessing though, not for her, but for her target, Duvessa. If that spell hit and at the same time as Zach's own Flipendo, that might’ve put Duvessa in danger. Amaris had stopped the duel for a brief moment to talk to the Slytherin girl and while she was at it, Raizel took her time to loosen up her shoulders and wrist. Now, there’s only one opponent left.

She knows well enough not to underestimate anyone even if she gets the upper hand. “Gotta keep up the pace.” Raizel muttered as her eyes fell on Zach. It’s just him and her now.

Duvessa was out of the duel. Great. When Amaris made sure the Slytherin was safe, she returned her gaze to the remaining two. 'I suppose...' she began. 'Congrats to surviving this far and taking out Miss Ember! I just hope, if she ever became a duellist, she won't be as terrible,' Amaris said with a playful wink at Raizel and Zach.

But the pleasantries were over. It was time for action. The attacks were obvious. As far as the Gryffindor knew, neither of them knew how to heal themselves or produce a shield. Therefore, the only option was straight-in offense. Zach's wand movement was almost predicatable. Incendio, because just of course we would want to play with fire again. 'Woah, are you choosing that spell once more? How many times have you casted that thing already?' Amaris could not help but say. The spell hit Raizel strongly and Amaris knew it was there to stay for at least two rounds.

Then she turned her eyes towards her fellow Gryffindor, Raizel. She aimed at Zach, moving in for a Tarantallegra, yet she seemed unfocused. Amaris could not comprehend why. Was she scared? Of Zach? Of herself? It came with a price, for as she casted, the spell rebounded onto her. 'Come on Raizel! You can do this!' Amaris shouted. Yet she knew Raizel could not, for the two attacks had decreased her stamina too much and soon, perhaps in the next round, she will be out of the duel and Zach would be declared the winner.

And of course, things start going bad for her which is probably nothing new at this point. Every time she participates in a duel, things will eventually go wrong for her and just when she was doing so well too. It was like the universe didn't like her getting the upper hand against her opponents or rather, it would just give her a taste of it before turning everything upside down and start leading her to the path of defeat. Then again, perhaps it's because she's lacking the skills to keep at it, getting carried away and losing her focus. Not matter how much she keeps telling herself to keep up the pace and focus, she still loses it at some point and this is the consequence.

Raizel missed her spell against a slow object, an Incendio hit her and now, to make things worse, her spell backfired, sending her into a fiery dance. That made her click her tongue in annoyance. What was going on with her again? In any case, she needs to do something about this and get her focus back. Right, the most important thing is to keep calm despite the bad things and get her bearings back. The dancing-feet spell was no stranger for her. Heck, she found herself under it in some duels, the same with being set on fire.

She took a deep breath as she tried to get into the rhythm of whatever dance she was under, bearing the heat from the flame that the spell had left on her. One more hit and she's out and that thought made her grin, a bit nervously at that since she's in a horrible situation but still, things are getting interesting and adrenaline was still coursing through her body. She shouldn't let herself get carried away either.

He once again decided to cast Fire-Making Spell, Incendio. The Moirai, or maybe Fortuna, seemed gave him a sprinkle of luck in this round. The spell was successfully cast and hit and... burn Raizel the Gryffindor girl. His tactic to use the spell seemed a right decision. A flame burnt her robe. "Sorry, Raizel," he said quietly, almost like he was just mumbling the words.

In the other side, Raizel also casted a spell, something that traumatized Zach in the previous rounds, The Dancing-Feet Spell! When he heard the incantation, he could not help but to be scared. Zach was screamed and close his eyes hoping the spell did not hit him, some acts that would not be done by any duelist. He must learn to be brave in the future. However, the sprinkle of luck that had been sprinkled towards Zach by Fortuna, the Goddess of Luck, still had its effect. Instead of hit him, the spell backfired towards the caster, Raizel. She danced the fiery dance. "That's.. bad. But lucky me," he said to himself also in a low volume.

Zach refocused after seeing the last round. He took a deep breath to maintain himself. The wand was pointed by him towards his only opponent. Would he got lucky again in the next round? He just hoped so.

The duel was coming to an end beautifully, with a Flipendo and yet another Tarantallegra. Dancing two dances at once? Interesting. It seemed to be a mix of hip hop and latin, though Amaris was no expect and could not possibly decided which one it looked like the most. Raizel was the first to cast, with a Flipendo on Zach. Ending with a bang, was she not? The spell hit perfectly and Zach was thrown back. Amaris quickly examined him and decided that he would be fine.

Yet then Zach casted a spell on Raizel. Perhaps because of his state, the spell would barely manage to hit Raizel. Even so, Amaris stepped up once again and said strongly, 'Halt, once more.' She knew that such a spell, even if the hit was impaired would do Raizel too much damage. 'I declare the winner of this duel,' the Gryffindor said grandly, 'Zach Zaphiere! It was a close call, but Zach, you did some good duelling back there. Good job, and good luck on any other future duelling ambitions you may want to pursue. That is the end of the duel, and as promised I would give you 30 chocolate frogs.' Her gaze shifted to Raizel, 'You survived for a pretty long time too. Good job.'

Considering Raizel's current situation and her luck, it was clear on who's going to come out standing in this duel but that doesn't mean she is just going to stand… or rather, dance here and do nothing. Clothes on fire, her body moving on its own in a dance that she doesn't even know how to perform when not under the dancing feet spell.

Still, despite how bad it is for her, she managed to remain calm, her eyes on her target. If she's going down sooner or later anyway, might as well give it her all on her final attack. She took a deep breath, ignoring and bearing the heat from the flames, getting into the rhythm of the dance that she's under with her wand at the ready. Once the opportunity came to her, she made a quick gesture with her wand before incanting. "Flipendo!" A bright light shone from her wand's tip as the spell was successfully casted, just in time before she got hit with another dancing feet spell.

Her spell hit her target and as much as she'd like to continue this duel until she's down for the count, Amaris had already put a stop to it and declared Zach as the winner. "Finite Incantatem." She casted onto herself then just to stop the dancing before following it up with another spell. "Extinguo." Need to take care of that raging fire. It might not be that much but it still stings as hell. "That was unfortunate." She muttered, exercising her arm, thinking about what just happened. Much like her other duels, she failed to hit her opponent when it truly matters and then, the backfiring of her spells. Perhaps she hasn't improved that much which is a bummer.

Well, she'll think about that later. The Gryffindor girl turned to face Amaris. "Could've done better really." She shrugged before looking over to Zach. "Well, thanks for the duel. You did well." She smiled at him. The results were disappointing but she's trying not to let that get to her. She'll just have to improve herself some more. "I should probably get myself treated. Anyway, I'll see you guys later. Thanks again." Hopefully, she'll get to the hospital wing without so much issue.
