"Hm... Slytherin..." He whispered under his breath. Slytherin, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Huff... Something. He couldn't help but to wonder how the different houses would be like, what was the big deal with them? He was honestly a little scared to find out, what if it actually mattered as much as these two other kids acted like it did? What if he got into the wrong one? He was going to be stuck with it for six years, so he'd better get into the good one.

"Oh, divination? You can see the future too? Holy smokes!" Everything he learned about this new world left him more and more surprised and amazed, "I can't wait for our third year, I have so many things I want to know... Heck, I can't wait for this year's classes to start!" And it was true.

He might not had been as responsible as he should by failing to investigate and study before getting on the train, but that didn't mean he wasn't ecstastic to learn everything he could about this, this that was now his new life. He felt like he was in a new planet entirely, a deer learning to walk.

"I wonder how far away we are now."

"I'm not sure, but I think we're on for a long ride, so meanwhile..." The boy rummaged through his backpack until he found what he was looking for: a stack of cards and a glass tupperware with some seemingly deep fried dough balls in it, "my mom packed me some motichoor laddu and UNO cards for the trip!"

Noticing the looks on her new friend's faces at the mention of Slytherin, Louise quickly added, "Yes Slytherin- but if I am being honest," she paused a moment to add 'flair' as her mother would put it, "I don't really think I would fit in there...it's really just my family is in the house."

She knew the connotations that usually came with the Slytherin house. She was sort of aware of the history and knew that it could be a sensitive subject for some. So, in her natural people-pleasing ways, Louise hoped that her explanation would ameliorate the situation just a bit. She was thankful for the change of subject as Fardeen pulled out his 'Uno' cards.

"Uno?" Louise asked, perking a brow as she looked at the strange cards laid in front of her. What did that mean? Louise supposed it was probably Spanish- was this a Spanish game? Why was there a Spanish game? Louise decided not to ask these questions out loud opting instead to just ask, "How do we play?"

Louise figured they were getting closer to Hogwarts now as the day slowly began shifting to a soft dusk. The nerves started to creep up again, flying around like butterflies in her stomach. This felt as if it was all happening so fast. Although she was excited of course to finally learn how to use her magic, she couldn't help but feel anxious to perform as well as, if not better than, her siblings.

Axyen made a guess at this point that Fardeen was muggleborn or a half-blood judging by Fardeen's lack of magical knowledge. Axyen was already interested in muggles, but he didn't want to sound rude so kept the thoughts to himself.

His thoughts were cut off when he saw the UNO cards. "What's 'UNO'?" Axyen asked, interested in the stack of cards. He generally never heard of the game, he was interested in learning though. "Is it like the game Exploding Snap?" Axyen asked, observing the cards carefully.

Axyen wanted the train ride to be over now, to attend classes with his new friends, to become a Gryffindor. Axyen seemed to be deep in thought. He took out two plain notebooks, one had a red leather cover, while the other was brown, but also made of leather. He wrote fast in the brown one, and wrote some more in the red cover. He then put it back in his trunk. He decided his best move was to say "I don't think it should matter too badly what house we're in, that shouldn't split us up, right?" Axyen said. He didn't want to lose his only friends because of house differences.

He looked back at the stack of UNO cards as well as the motichoor laddu, his interest in UNO returned. He went into his trunk and brought out cupcakes, but they were in the shape of the sorting hat. "My mother helped me make these." Axyen explained. There were about 6 of them in total, Axyen split them evenly between the three. "Here, if you want to eat them, of course." Axyen said.

Fardeen wondered as to why Louise was so quick to clarify she didn't fit in Slytherin, maybe that was the bad house? If so, he hoped she didn't end up there, she kind of seemed like she didn't want to, and she was really nice, she should end up in a nice house.

He was thrown off by Axyen's question, "what... You know, I'm a little scared to ask... But what is 'Exploding Snap'?" It sounded like... He didn't even know what it sounded like, was that really a game wizards played?

The boy was ready to explain to his new-found friends the rules of UNO when Axyen spoke again, his words were endearing, and helped to reassure him about all of the housing stuff.

"Totally! I don't know that much about the houses, but I don't think it should be a great deal, you guys are cool! I want us to be buddies regardless" His smile was bright and wide as he said that, his hand repeatedly tapping his thigh.

The cupcakes took him by surprise, it was a really good surprise.

"Neato! They look yummy, what flavor are they?" He grabbed one of them and took a good look at it, it really did look yummy, "you can also take some laddu if you want! My father made it, he owns a bakery." He opened the tupperware, the sweet familiar smell of the dessert filling the air. He was going to miss home.

Oh god, he was really going to miss home.

"Anyways... Still want me to show you this?" The pack of cards rattled a little as he shook it in his hand.

Axyen laughed a little and said "Exploding Snap can be played in multiple ways," Axyen started. "I personally like to stack the cards as much as I can before they explode." Axyen said. "I guess, there's not many ways for me to play with my fri..." Axyen quickly cut himself off remembering he didn't really have any friends at all before this train ride.

He was glad about being asked the cupcake flavor. An excuse. "The cupcakes are chocolate flavored!" Axyen said happily. "I love to cook with my mother, it's a fun hobby!" Axyen said.

Axyen looked at the laddu, "Thanks for offering these too! They look great!" Axyen said.

When Fardeen mentioned UNO again, Axyen said, "Yeah, I want to try it out! I can't wait to play!"
Axyen suddenly wanted to remain on the train. Just a little longer, to meet and interact with his new friends, it seemed they might all go to different houses.

Axyen wanted nothing but to learn the rules of UNO, he wanted to take muggle studies to hang out with his friend Fardeen more better. Axyen thought about both of his new friends, he noticed how Louise didn't want to be in Slytherin, despite her family being Slytherin. Axyen felt bad for her, he felt under pressure to become a Gryffindor, despite wanting the house, he still felt some sense of pressure. He wanted to learn more about both of his friends, but it seemed like the train could stop soon. Axyen wanted to use the train ride to learn about his friends as much as possible, because knowing himself, he was probably going to spend most of his time working on his studies and classwork.
