Ava could tell that she was acting differently than how she had when she first saw Clair. She tried to shake it off, not make Clair feel bad. She could see the concern written clearly all over Clair’s face. She pasted a fake smile on her face and nodded her head at absolutely nothing in particular.
“What?” Ava wondered how Clair had reached the conclusion. It hit her after a second. Oh. Ava had been acting weird, and Clair had interpreted that as Ava not wanting to have lunch with her. She let out a strained laugh, keeping the fake smile on her face. “No, I’d love to have lunch with you. I didn’t feel like you were pressuring me.” More like she was pressuring Clair without Clair even knowing what Ava was trying to do. She blinked her brown eyes slowly, realizing what she’d done. “Sorry. I made it awkward, didn’t I?” Another strangled laugh escaped her grimacing lips. Why did she always make things awkward.
Even Clair was beginning to look awkward, and Ava realized now was the moment to make her escape. “I’ll see you outside for lunch, yeah?” She asked for confirmation, not wanting to show up in the wrong place. She gathered her book into her arms and pushed the chair back.
With a confirmation from Clair, she would glance towards the door. “It was nice seeing you again and…” She glanced back at Clair, “…talking to you.” She finished, a hint of sadness creeping into her voice. She glanced back at the door, but quickly refocused on Clair. "I'll see you soon." With that, she made her move towards the door.

Ava seemed to brighten up, but something told Clair it was a false smile.
Clair smiled back, "Awesome, I did not want to make you feel like it was forced or anything, i'm sure you have things you want to do without me intruding on your time." she explained, though it was not really important to explain it.
The ravenclaw nodded, "Yeah, I'll meet you outside." she paused "Yeah, it was nice talking to you as well." It was true. Clair truly felt that Ava was a good person she had just made a mistake and now she was repenting. Everyone makes mistakes, and Ava had made one it made her human.
As far as Clair figured, Ava had made a mistake and as long as she had scared herself enough by that mistake, there would be less of a chance of more attempted murders, of course not everyone may feel that way.
The Broom Racer took her book and headed to check it out, but then she had a different idea, instead she headed to a different section of the library and found a book on the brain. She was going to study how a teenager's mind changes through out their time growing up.Clair has left this thread
with that she made her way out of the library.
