“Well, if you ever want to try, let me know. It does wonders when you need to clear your head.” Ye-jun offered with a smile. “Getting up from the warm bed definitely sucks especially in winter but I find it much easier now. I have established a clear routine and as long as I stick to it, my body does it almost automatically.” At this point, the wizard would wake up at the same time every day even when he didn’t need to. He didn’t enjoy it but it was doable. Also, some places were outright magical when it came this sport. He still remembered one of his visits to Korea during spring. To this day, going for a run early in the morning surrounded by Cherry Blossoms was one of his fondest memories.

“Good, we are pretty similar in that regard then so no need to tiptoe around each other.” The boy confirmed with a smile. You could honestly throw almost anything his way and he would be able to take it. The problem usually occurred when it came to others. While Eun-ji didn’t like to meddle in other people affairs unless absolutely necessary, Ye-jun didn’t shy away from conflict if there was even a tiny hint of bullying. He was physically incapable of walking away from such situations. Admittedly, it led to some unfortunate consequences for him from time to time but he couldn't see himself changing anytime soon.

“Yeah, I like to dance…” The Beauxbatons student felt some sense of relief upon hearing Jack's reply. He wasn’t crazy about dancing like his cousin was but he did enjoy it. It wouldn’t bother him if Jack said no but this was better. “Good,” he nodded. “So you’ll save me one, right?” The boy said with a smile. “I actually did take lessons since my mother often takes me and my father to her work parties. Those tend to be pretty fancy events so I had to learn to dance but I’m not an expert by any means.” He was actually pretty good but school balls weren’t a competition and he didn’t enjoy flaunting his skills. He just wanted both of them to have fun. Basic steps were perfectly fine in his book.

"I will, thanks! I think it would definitely help make me get up if I knew I had someone to run with." The fact that he had a routine that he followed each morning also reminded Jack of Flash, but he didn't bother saying so. It was just interesting to note they seemed to have a lot in common already. Jack guessed the two would probably get along really well if they got to know each other, though he didn't know how much they already knew about one another.

But it seemed Jack and Ye-jun also had things in common as well, as Ye-jun mentioned. Jack grinned, pleased to learn that about his new date. At least he could try not to be so nervous when it came to making sure he didn't annoy the other boy from now on. He also liked that Ye-jun tended to want to intercede when he noticed something was wrong, like when he noticed Jack punch Flash. It took a lot of courage to step into a situation like that, especially when you had no real idea what was going on, and not many people would have done it. He hadn't escalated matters either; just tried to stop whatever violence had been happening.

"Good to know," he answered when he heard his peer liked to dance. "And if you're going as my date, how could I not? It would be a crime if I did otherwise." He beamed upon hearing Ye-kun had taken lessons for his mother's work parties which Jack was surprised to learn would have dancing. "Well, I'm glad at least one of us will know what we're doing. I'll try not to step on any toes, at the very least," he assured Ye-jun.

His gaze strayed idly to the nearest clock and Jack realized he had been standing around talking for quite some time. It was easy to lose track of it when he was caught up in a good conversation and he had definitely been enjoying his with Ye-jun, but he couldn't neglect his studies. He still had his work to do for his next class.

"Oh, shoot, I didn't notice how long we've been talking. I'm sorry, hyung, but I should get going," he said, checking to make sure he had everything with him. "It was great getting to meet you properly, though, and I look forward to the upcoming ball. Should we meet at the entrance? Maybe in the least crowded area so we can spot one another?"

“Great, I’m usually hanging out in the Great Hall or somewhere on the school grounds. Feel free to find me if you want but if you don’t feel like it, that’s okay too.” Ye-jun didn’t want the boy to think he actually had to do it just because he expressed some interest in that very moment. People changed their minds all the time and he was okay with it. He also didn’t bother saying that he usually preferred running alone. If he didn’t want Jack to join him, he wouldn’t have made the offer in the first place. It was a bit uncharacteristic for him but he supposed a little change once in a while wasn’t a bad thing. Not to mention this was Hogwarts, everything was different here so he could allow himself to adjust the rules and forget his routines for a few days.

“A huge crime indeed,” the Beauxbatons student smiled, clearly satisfied with the answer. “And don’t worry too much. It’s not a competition and I can take some accidental toe stepping. I promise it won’t kill me.” Just as he finished the sentence he noticed Jack staring at the clock. Considering his surprised look, Ye-jun already knew what was coming...it was time to go. They did talk for quite some time now. “Of course, you should go then. I'll go back to my reading.” He nodded. Eun-ji was also still doing some schoolwork these days so it wouldn't be surprising if Jack had to do the same. Or was it something else? Perhaps he promised to meet somebody today and he was running late. The Beauxbatons student didn’t ask. It was not his place to pry into Jack's private matters…not yet at least. “It was good to meet you too.” He agreed with a smile. “And yeah, by the entrance sounds good. No need to rush and be there right from the start. That way the biggest crowd will be gone and we’ll spot each other easily. Now off you go, I'll see you tomorrow.”
