Owl / DM for Interaction

This is the first time Ronnie has watch a Quidditch match, ever. Well, that was a lie. Ronnie had seen so many matches before during his academic time while studying at Castelobruxo. His older brother was a Quidditch player once. But since it is Venice last year at the school, the second oldest of Ramírez decided to take a little break while he focused on his last big exams before he entered adulthood.

Then the Portuguese boy remembers his badass cousin which is Cash also a Quidditch player. Ronnie never sees the appeal of Quidditch but it seems both his brother and cousin have their own affection towards the most of the time brutal game. So after he contemplated whether he watched the game or not, he decided the former.

Ronnie then grabbed his wand holster and strapped it on his left forearm. He then took a little peek by sticking up his head outside his tent and looking up at the sky. The sky slowly becomes dark and grey. After he has done that, Ronnie rummaged in his trunk and found out that his oldest sister (Alex) had put an umbrella inside his trunk.

Sure he can easily cast the umbrella charm but casting a spell requires concentration. If what Cash and Venice said was true, sometimes when watching a Quidditch player, the spectator got lost in it and if he uses the umbrella charm and his concentration was gone, Ronnie sure will be drenched in rainwater. And so after Ronnie needs to bring the essentials to watch a Quidditch game, he began slowly marching up towards the stand.

Ronnie did not know anyone on the player or the people that watch today's game but it did not deter his curiosity about the game. After saying excuse me and coming through for the umpteenth time, Ronnie finally found the perfect spot. Once he was seated at his seat, he opens up his transparent umbrella with rainbow trimmed on it to protect him from the assault of the water that pours down from above.

Ronnie waited a bit and then after the announcement announced the game begins Ronnie clapped his hands and shout to hype his support for all the teams that will be playing today. A blur of Durmstrang Quidditch uniform player fly circling the stadium taking their mandatory lap before the real game begin. Ronnie watched from one Durmstrang Quid player to the next until his blue-grey eyes landed on #3 and Charles Alluring on the back part of the said Quidditch player uniform.

Ronnie smile after he sees the blonde lad again. The one that he sent a wink to from the distance and who talked to him during the annual BBQ that happened on the first day of this camp. Still holding that rainbow umbrella in his hand, Ronnie stood up from his seat. Ronnie then makes an O shape with his thumb and index finger.

He put that under his tongue and blow a high pitch whistle to gain Charles's attention. If and when Charles hears the high pitch amongst the cheer and scream of the spectator, Ronnie will smile up with that cute dimples of his at Charles again. Ronnie also will point to Charles and wiggle his fingers as a flirtatious wave.

"KICK THEIR ASSES, ALLURING!"Ronnie screams with both of his hands around his mouth to amplify his voice so it did not get drowned in the spectator. "GO DURMSTRANG!"Ronnie yelled out his support some more. It is less than romantic but hopefully, Charles understands the underlying meaning of Ronnie's support.

If Cash and the rest of their teammates represented their school against the other school, the Duellist will support his cousin wholeheartedly but since Cash was not here, Ronnie will support Durmstrang and especially Charles wholeheartedly. No matter whether Durmstrang wins or loses in today's game, Ronnie will support Charles until the end of the match without a doubt.

It had nearly been the anniversary of the explosion in Hogsmeade where many of her students perished. Natasha Pavolva remembered it like it was yesterday. She, herself was there, walking around the area with students. It was their day to explore the wizarding town that most Hogwarts students got to explore on various weekends. Why the terrorist group chose the day foreign visitors were there was beyond Natasha.

Throughout the past year, she had suffered through survivors guilt; wondering why not her along with the fourteen students who died? Why was she given the burden to live and care for each student that she had grown close with, seeing how they grew in her school. Some were just making their choice in various groups, to enhance specific magical skills. They were just beginning in their lives.

The entirety of the year was filled with visits and offering of support to all families who suffered the loss of their child. Koldovstoretz mourned for them once arriving back from the United Kingdom. Natasha did not want to come back to Hogwarts when she came back to her homeland. However, she always believed in second chances and truly believed that the security in the United Kingdom's wizarding world would be up to par after such an attack. Her and her students have come to Scotland a couple times already this year, but to come during the summer stung the Headmistress the most.

Now was the annual Quidditch Tournament. It was the game that most of those perished last year were supposed to play as they had all been Quidditch players. To provide light in this darkness, Natasha Pavolva felt it appropriate to share her support for her new Quidditch students and watch them win alongside Durmstrang against Hogwarts.

Natasha made her way through the gossiping of students and towards an area that was primarily clear. She did not want to be around others. She just wanted to watch the game in peace. Praying for her students who could have played this year as much as last year if it weren't for the terrorist group.

Mentions @Aurelia Notresvace & @Falentra Black
One of the biggest reasons for other schools to join Hogwarts during the summer was for the games. In this case, it was the Quidditch Games. Rain or shine, fans would make their way to the stadium. Although drizzling, Bloom wore blue denim skinny jeans, a blue tank top and a navy blue sweater. Knowing it was the summer, Bloom did not think about it ever raining. She looked up at the sky and saw how dark the clouds were. It most likely would not break into sunshine, but rather continue towards a rainy game. It was unfortunate, but Bloom did not have an umbrella, nor did she bring one to camp. She would end up being in the rain for the game.

It didn't bother her, however. Her hair was down, shaping her heart-shaped face, slowly getting wet from the drizzle. She took her hair and moved it all to one side as she walked to the Hogwarts section of the stadium.

When she got there, immediately her eyes saw two girls under an umbrella: Falentra and Aurelia. Bloom felt that she was on good terms with Falentra after meeting her for the first time in their tent, but Aurelia... They did not have a great interaction with each other. Bloom's impression of Aurelia was someone who sought attention and put down others. She could not stand someone like that-- especially if the person she was putting down was her boyfriend.

There were a couple other people, but Bloom did not really recognize them. Bloom immediately felt alone for a second. Her friend that she usually spent time with at a game was Serena and that wasn't even an option for her anymore. Who was she going to be with? Bloom began to secretly freak out, her chocolate eyes looking at each person and back on the field. She was hoping for a friend, or someone to talk to her in the midst of waiting for the game to start. She felt that it would prevent, hopefully, from Aurelia to come up to her. If Bloom was right, and she only assumed, Aurelia would be the type to come up to her and seek some sort of attention. Bloom wasn't in the mood for that right now. She just wanted to enjoy a great summer Quidditch Game.
OOC: @Evelynn Decipio - Evelynn would be hearing Bloom asking for a friend to either talk to or meet. If Evelynn is able to figure out who it is (it being Bloom), then it would be cool for them to interact with each other!

INTERACTIONS @Finnegan Conner @Bloom Silvverton | MENTIONING @Durmstrang players
───•─•────────────────────────────────────•─•───
"Mister Conner," she had echoed in greeting when the introduction was offered, holding his gaze while he sized her up in turn. It was interesting, being on the receiving end. It wasn't often anyone would actually spare so bold a moment for an appraisal. "A pleasure." Hand retreating, she would let it lower to join the other in coveting the chocolate bar between them. The pads of her thumbs would toy with the wrapper's jagged edge.

"It is Latin," came the returning comment on her surname as she turned her gaze back towards the pitch.

The name had been with her family for many generations. How—or perhaps why might be the better question—it had come into existence to moniker their lineage, she did not know. Nor did she gather she ever would. To the uneducated, the name often sounded prestigious. To the educated, it would be a red flag. She was no ignorant child in that respect. She knew what it meant, and it carried with it an unfortunate barrier for any who took it for its meaning.

But as he was not pressing the matter, neither was she. Instead, she had more pressing concerns: names, his interest in her journal. "This is not a diary." The correction was delivered succinctly without emotional inflection. "It is a collection of observations and statistics of the various Quidditch players. For study."

Nevermind that she also happened to make use of it for the other sports teams, individuals with whom she became acquainted, or the first years each year as they made their way to the sorting hat. Record-keeping features and characteristics had become something of a habit, and one that had proved valuable on more than one occasion. She wasn't about to stop now. Before she would, however, she would reposition the Mars bar in her hands. The thought of chocolate had finally become a powerful enough notion, and fingers had moved to split the covering along its seam.

I hope she doesn’t start throwing up on me.

Barely a sliver would appear before the boy's words would once again filter through her ears, action immediately ceasing. "I—" she had begun to ask, snapping her gaze to fix him with a look of surprise.

At once, the image of a profusely vomiting Lansdale had come to mind. Granted, that situation had had nothing at all to do with the occasion where he had consumed a variety of potion-laced treats, but the two had overlapped in her mind, and the unreasonable worry that this bar had been tampered with came rushing back. The fact that he had deigned to hope that she would not be sick on him, still suggested that she would end up sick. Of course, she hadn't any notion that this had not actually been a sentiment he had said aloud, nor that he had previously thought her to look unwell. Either way, she was quite certain she wasn't meant to overhear it and spoil the "surprise".

Cutting herself off before she could spout a very indignant I beg your pardon?!, she instead spun him with a placid smile. "On second thought, I have no wish to spoil my lunch." With that, she would deposit the chocolate bar to the bench between the pair of them and take up her pen in its stead, dutifully returning to the reason she had come to this game in the first place:
Johannes Ambroży, Durmstrang, Keeper—short, gothic, mischievous
Astrid Olsen, Durmstrang, 2nd Seeker—mousey, unimpressionable, unknown
Valentin Schnell, Durmstrang, Seeker—albino, dedicated, dangerously talented
Lysander-Blaine Stavrou (related?), Durmstrang, Chaser—attention seeker, decent flyer, flirt
Romeo Marchonné, Durmstrang, Beater—tall, aesthetically pleasing, respectable
"Do you know anything of the sport?" she wondered, glancing briefly to the boy before casting her gaze down.

Then another voice. It was so clearly spoken, reverberating in her head that Evelynn jumped. She hadn't heard anyone come up behind them, but by its clarity, it had to have come from immediately behind her, as though someone had leaned in and spoken to the back of her head. Brows pinched anew, she slowly glanced over her shoulder. But there was nobody there. Odd... Instead, her gaze had fallen onto the vaguely familiar face of one of her upperclassmen.

"Silverton," she called out, finally placing her as a Ravenclaw who had made a brief appearance on their Quidditch team on a couple of occasions. Her voice had not been so loud as to be obnoxious or sound as though she were shouting, but loud enough to carry over the din to the girl. She was just standing there, looking lost. As though she had regretted her own presence the moment she had arrived at the game. It seemed only polite to offer her a line. "There is a seat just there," Evelynn offered, waving her hand to the young Conner's other side. "If you are looking for one. It has not yet been claimed. Join us, if you would like."

Whether or not she accepted, Evelynn would return her attention back around to the pitch, mentally shaking her head of the oddity. Perhaps it had been a lingering effect of the vision.. Or.. more likely... perhaps she just needed more sleep. The process of returning to school always did seem to come with an unhealthy dose of insomnia..

"Your loss," Finnegan shrugged, claimed the chocolate bar for himself and munched down it with all the grace one could except from a ten-year-old. He still thought Decipio was a very strange name, despite the explanation she'd offered, but decided not to push the matter. No one picked their own names anyway, for all he knew she found it odd too and would rather not talk about it.

While the spectacle down at the pitch should have consumed every bit of his attention, his eyes kept returning to the girl. Stealthy little glances at first, then exceedinlgy less concealed. It wasn't so much that he was disinterested in the game - though he didn't understand much of it - but rather that she was so unusual. He'd never heard of people going to games to study them, except trainers perhaps, but he imagined those would not be sitting in the middle of a vast crowd. Besides, by her own admissions she was only a fourth year, she couldn't be the Hogwarts trainer, could she?

"I don't know nothing about it," he admitted plainly. "Except for the obvious, there's balls, there's brooms, there's hoops, and there's points an' the team with the most points wins, innit?". So far, he didn't really see how it was better than football, except for the flying perhaps, that part of it seemed pretty exciting.

No sooner than he'd put the question to her, their conversation was interrupted by the appearance of a thin young woman with brown hair and eyes of the same color. Decipio seemed to recognize her and Finnegan silently took note of the woman's name. "Aye there's room," he said to Silverton, "but I just ate the last of my chocolate bars, so you'll have t'do without one.". Judging by the sight of her however, being allowed to sit in a dry spot would be a considerable improvement.

Finnegan scooted over to the side to make room, perhaps a little more than he actually needed to. His curiosity had long shifted away from the game and toward Decipio's not-a-diary. Curious, twinkling little eyes darted across the page she'd been writing on and a quizzical look came to his face.

"What's a chaser?" he asked, putting one grubby index finger square on the page where she'd written down Lysander-Blaine Savrou's name. "And what's a flirt mean?" he added, turning toward Silverton in hopes that perhaps she could answer that question.

The seats were filling in quickly with Hogwarts fans for the game. Bloom, not wanting her last resort to be by the duo under the umbrella, heard her name being called out from the bleachers. She looked over to see Evelyn Decipio calling out to her and seeing her flag an empty chair next to a young boy for her. Bloom smiled, her heart-shaped face prominent and made her way over to the two.

"Thank you!" she said with excitement. Little did they know how much they were her saviors. She was beyond thankful that she had found a friend, or friends, to talk to. Bloom walked over and sat down with the two, a smile still on her face.

Bloom shook her head, not worrying about a chocolate bar. She was just glad to meet and see some friends that strayed her away from Aurelia and Falentra for the time being. "I'm Bloom," she introduced herself to the young lad who she figured would be a first year from how small he was.

She couldn't help but the laugh at his question. It was pure and innocent. She cleared her throat and explained the concept of being a flirt. "It's connecting with someone with a hint of passion or lust," she said, trying her hardest to think about how she would describe flirting. If she were flirting with her boyfriend, she would be just what her definition was. But the fact that he's asking the question made Bloom really curious. "Why? Who's a flirt?" she asked the two of them.

"And you at least have a better grasp than some..." Evelynn admitted with a shrug of a brow, giving Finnegan a momentary side eye.

She would say nothing of the double-negative he had employed, but that did strike a warning that perhaps he had been poorly educated as a child. Nor would she immediately jump into an explanation of the game. Silverton's returning thank you would give Evelynn pause in the midst of her returned attention. It had sounded uncannily similar in tone and cadence to the voice she had heard so nearby.. No. She gave a slight shake of her head. To the voice she had thought she'd heard. Clearly it had been a trick of the imagination. Perhaps Silverton had simply called out the voice carrying on the breeze or by some other inexplainable phenomena to sound so near. Yes. Surely that.

Nevertheless, Evelynn would offer the senior a small smile as she eagerly took to a seat on the young boy's other side, quickly offering her introduction. "Decipio," the lioness would reply in kind.

After all, despite Evelynn's familiarity with the girl for her brief appearance on the Ravenclaw quidditch team (generally speaking, if a student had ever spent any amount of time on any of the quidditch teams, Evelynn had spent time studying their statistics and new them by face and name) the two had never been formally acquainted. A hand would extend across Finnegan's space in offer of a shake. A space that had shifted to lean much closer against her own than she might otherwise have been comfortable. She could practically feel his shoulder against her own, and the space between himself and the Ravenclaw did not go unnoticed. Should the girl accept the shake, she would find it to be slightly dampened by the drizzle of rain as it extended beyond the protective canopy of the umbrella, and firm.

"A chaser is—" A slight increase in the weight of her book upon her knees would cue the prefect that something was amiss. A flick of her gaze down revealed the presence of a grubby little finger trespassing upon her pristine pages, reflexively prompting the sharp flick of her pen to rap upon his knuckles. Not enough to damage, of course, but enough to get her point across. "Kindly keep your fingers to yourself," came the reproachful scolding.

Narrowed eyes would meet his features after that, his follow-up question making it blatantly clear that he was reading what she was writing. A mental note was made to filter her personal commentary going forward. Spared the need to explain the concept of a flirt, she would snort lightly at Silverton's question and nod her head towards the pitch. Durmstrang's chaser, Stavrou. The omnioculars would lift to her eyes as she spoke, their focus narrowing in on the source of her answer for a second look.

"He shamelessly sent a wink this way while making his way into position. An attempt to solicit fanfare, I can only imagine. Do you know anything of him?" Evelynn wondered, inclining her head in Silverton's direction. It was a long shot, perhaps, but the girl was of the same year and House as Hogwarts' Stavrou. Perhaps she might know more than Evelynn did. "Has he any relation to Phaedra?"

Any silent hints the red-head was dropping that he'd come a little too close went completely unnoticed by the curious ten-year-old. He'd all but forgotten about the game and focused all his attention on the curious notebook on the girl's lap. She'd been acting rather strangely (including ignoring the chocolate bar, did she not like chocolate? Who in their right mind could not like chocolate?)

The only time his eyes drifted from the mysterious pages was when Bloom - another odd name, he thought - jumped in with her explanation of a flirt that only served to confuse him further. Not wishing to seem stupid however, he gave a curt nod and pretended to understand.

The rap on his knuckles was enough to make him withdraw his hand, but only made him even more curious as to why she was so protective of the pages. From what he could tell, it was a rather ordinary notebook which meant that the only thing that could be special about it were its contents.

While the girls engaged in their conversation over the flirt (whatever that might be), Finnegan scooted even closer to Evelynn, bumping his shoulder against hers while he craned his neck to try and read the other page before he retreated again. There was no pretense of trying to be stealthy, he was simply trying to understand what was so special about the notebook.

Not quite foolish enough to put his fingers on her notebook again, Finnegan instead leaned forward a little, cocked his head sideways and blew against the page in an attempt to cause it to turn. To his surprise and disappointment, the glimpse he caught of the succeeding pages revealed them to be empty.

He frowned at her, completely oblivious to the fact that he was cutting right through the conversation Evelynn was having with Bloom. She could politely scold him again, but he hadn't touched her notebook, he'd very kindly kept his digits to himself. "You should draw something on the next page," he said sagely, "books are always better if they've got pictures in them. I could draw something for you, I'm pretty good at drawing actually."

He shot a glance between her and Bloom before he spoke up again. "Are you sure you're alright? You look a bit out of it," he said before turning toward @Bloom Silverton "wouldn't you agree? A bit pale, innit? I think you might be catching a cold Decipio," he concluded, turning back to face the Gryffindor again.

What was on the pages of Evelynn's notebook was discussed and agreed upon beforehand over discord.

@Bloom Silverton: sorry I could not involve your character more in this post. Unfortunately Finnegan is, at this juncture, rather intrigued by the notebook and not paying attention to much else.

While Glenys wasn't much of a Quidditch fan (nor much of a sports fan in general), she was still excited to see an actual Quidditch game. She was planning on watching both of today's games provided she didn't get bored half-way through. She wasn't always the best at just sitting there watching something, especially if it was hard to see and follow. If she turned out to like it, she would have to invest in binoculars.

Luckily she did not have to watch the game on her own: Ellie, one of her tent mates had also wanted to see the game, and so they had decided to go watch them together.

Surely, having someone to talk to could only make the experience more interesting, right?
Besides, it would also give her an excuse not to have to seek out someone to talk to - not that she minded that normally, but she was still a bit daunted by the sheer amount of people here. On the plus side, she had already met quite a few people.

It was still early in the day, but Glenys didn't mind. She had brought a light cardigan along, though she was not actually wearing it, though the weather was liable to change her mind. She'd chosen to wear another knee-length summer dress, a light teal coloured one, with white embroidered flowers at the hem. Due to the predicted rain, she'd decided to wear sneakers despite the green of the shoes somewhat clashing with the teal of her dress. (Okay, to be fair, it wasn't like she actually minded that fact in the slightest.)

Spells like Impervius or Pluvia Velo would be quite handy for days like this (see, dad, she did read ahead! … At least a bit.) but alas, she would have to contend with an old-school Muggle umbrella if it came to that. Only … she hadn't actually thought to bring it along when her and Ellie had left their tent for the stadium. The light drizzle on the way over didn't faze her but she hoped that the rain would not become worse.

As they arrived, she would turn to Ellie to ask: “Do you know anyone on the teams playing today, by the way? I don't think I do... Hm. – Anyway, any preference from where we should watch? I don't really care.”

She wanted to be somewhere with a view, but she had no idea where which, uh, fan block would be located, really, or well. She didn't have any experience with this and wasn't sure how separated things would be? Glenys had resolved to just go with the flow and if Ellie had a preference, great. If not, they could just select a spot randomly... Glenys would wait for Ellie to take the lead in finding a spot.

Ellie was excited to be taking part in the Summer Camp activities. She was even more excited that her tentmate didn’t mind her tagging along. Ellie was most looking forward to the Mutiny-Wolf Game that would be taking place on Tuesday, but was curious to watch a quidditch match. She wasn’t the athletic type and would most likely not play when she finally attended Hogwarts, but nonetheless thought it would be good fun.

Even though she was excited, her stomach was a ball of nerves to be around so many people. She had tried her best to meet new people in the weeks leading up to the camp, but nonetheless was still not a social butterfly. She also feared making a fool out of herself not really knowing much about the game itself.

Ellie wasn’t sure what to pack to wear because this summer camp was very different from camping for Muggles. She had noticed that her tentmate was going to go to the game in a dress and decided to wear a knee-high lilac flowy skirt with a light pink shirt that she had tucked in. Her hair did not want to cooperate, especially in the summer heat, so she simply pushed it back with a pink floral headband.

As Ellie and Glenys entered the stadium, she was taken back by how large it was. Since she didn’t really like sports, she didn’t have anything to compare it to. Ellie chuckled when Glenys asked if Ellie knew anyone. “I don’t really know anyone on the teams”. She was happy that she didn’t have to pretend with Glenys. They seemed to have the same amount of knowledge in the sport.

With a shy smile she let out “I’m not really into sports, so I am not sure where the best spot to sit is. I imagine with the players flying everywhere we should probably sit higher up in the stands to be able to see everything.”

Secretly she also wanted to go on the higher benches because they seemed to have less spectators. She started to make her way up the stairs on the side to get to the top seats of the stadium.
