New Friends
Everyone seemed to be enjoying her scone. Kim bit delicately into it, after asking Coco what his favorite meat dish was.
Bailey thought this was a peculiar question- Coco isn’t an animal, what type of question is that? she thought, not thinking too hard onto it.
Colin answered the question easily before sniffing the scone she handed him.
maybe he is an animal bailey thought, giggling to herself. She found it cute, and blushed when Colin mentioned that chocolate was one of the only threats he liked, and that it smelled delicious.
“Thanks Colin!” she said, beaming. “That really means a lot!”

They all seemed to be calming down, as their bellies got full.
Bailey smiled when Taizu started laughing. He seemed to be coming out of his shell, and she loved it.
Laughing with him, she flopped over, holding her stomach.
“Ahh I’m so happy I met y’all today!” she said, beaming at the sky.
“Thanks for going along with my crazy plan. It really means a lot, and I’m so happy to be sharing time and food with you guys.”
Grateful for everything that had happened that day, Bailey smiled again and thought who am I to deserve such great friends? Coco, Taizu, Kim… these are friends I’ll keep and treasure forever!

ㅤ──────────────────────| ── | Colin responded to his question. He told him his favorite were bangers and Kim tilted his head to the side. Bangers? Did he mean burgers? Or was bangers code for something else? "What are bangers?" Kim asked Colin, puzzled. "I really like their shepherd's pie actually quite a lot. The meat's really tender and melts in your mouth but it has a variety of vegetables in it too, along with delicious mashed potatoes with a lovely crisp on top." Okay, he was about to drool just thinking about it, enough talk about foodies! Kim nibbled on his triple chocolate scone. It flaked apart in his mouth and he licked his lips, clearing off the crumbs. As Colin spoke of chocolate being one of the few sweets he actually liked, Kim grinned at him. "How could anyone not like chocolate?! If you're ever craving chocolate, feel free to always come find me. I always have a supply of chocolate, everywhere I go. That's part of the reason why I'm known as the Prince of Sweets." He told him. As Taizu gave him permission to finish off the katsudon, Kim reached out to start to eat the remainders. Colin fell back onto his back. And joyous laughter could be heard shortly afterward. At first he thought it was from Colin. But then he realized it was from Taizu of all people. Kim couldn't help but smirk as both boys relaxed outside at their picnic area. It was a lovely, relaxed scene and it made him want to sketch. Tucking a strand of white hair behind his ear, he reached into his satchel and pulled out his sketchbook, a quill and an inkwell. Setting the latter two down beside him, he flipped open his sketchbook and then glanced over at Colin, Taizu and Bailey. Getting the picture set in his mind, Kim dipped the quill into the ink and started to sketch the three. Time passed and eventually, his sketch was complete. He'd keep it with him forever. Maybe he'd make duplicate copies of it later on for them. But for now it was time to go for him. He wanted to get to the Great Hall to see what foods had been laid out. Even though he'd already eaten, Kim had a high metabolism and digested things incredibly fast. This was why he could eat as much as he wanted and never gain weight, unlike others. So, Kim was still hungry after this picnic. Not that he'd tell anyone here that, he didn't want to be seen as a glutton! Putting his sketchbook away into his satchel, Kim reached out and gathered the empty containers together and placed them in front of Bailey, as they were hers. "Thanks for the picnic invite, Bailey! I had fun today, spending time with you three. But I have somewhere to be now. Can't wait to see you around later. Don't be afraid to seek me out!" Kim said to them. "Zàijiàn!" He said, using the Mandarin word for goodbye, and he raised his hand to wave at the trio. Getting up, slinging the strap of his satchel over his shoulder, Kim made his way back towards Hogwarts. ────────────────────── ㅤ ㅤ──────────────────────
