First year on the Hogearts Express

Kim had returned to the compartment.
Without Katelynn. Before the two girls inside could ask about her, Kim spoke.
"She went to the bathroom and will be back later." He told them and settled down into his seat again. Kim's eyes flickered over the large amount of sweets Cloudy had bought and a faint smirk came to his lips at the sight of them. "Funny that it came over when we left to go find it. I see you bought a lot of stuff, what's your favorite?" He asked Cloudy, curious. Kim was a sweet-a-holic, especially when it came to chocolate. He loved it.
The tall, white haired boy took a seat on the cushions and looked out the window of the train. "Ah, it looks like we're almost there. I can see the castle in the distance." Kim remarked, as the sky grew darker, showing that time had passed by relatively fast. He glanced around and made sure he knew where everything was. "I'll get our trunks down." The boy added and did exactly that, letting them sit between their legs now. It was almost time.
Soon the train started to slow and eventually stopped.
"Zàijiàn!" Kim said in Mandarin, the word literally meaning 'goodbye'.
He got his trunk and headed off the train, dragging it behind him. Once he was off, he followed the other first years towards the lake, where boats were waiting for them to take them off to Hogwarts. Kim was curious and also nervous as to where the Hat would place him. He knew if the Hat could see inside his mind, he'd be placed in Ravenclaw and have to explain it to his parents. But inwardly he'd be thrilled that a Hat would be able to realize this.
However, Kim had to admit, he was still kind of skeptical that a Hat could actually see deep inside you. And know who you really were, despite your intentions to try and hide this. But if the Hat was fooled by him, it would place him in either his father's House, or his mother's House. Kim was kind of curious how the Hat would decide, as he couldn't choose between either one. Of course, the boy knew he had a lot of desire to be picked for Slytherin House.
He wanted it a lot.
Mostly because his father would be over the moon happy about this.
But usually Kim didn't have good luck when it came to pleasing his father. Hopefully, that would change with his arrival at Hogwarts. Up until this point, his mother had always won.
