Locked TABLE 14 | Sweethearts Tea Party Event

Never in her life she had held a cupcake that smelled this good. The smell of fresh-baked bread, just fallen rain and a whiff of her mom's perfume reached her nose when the young girl took a bit from the cupcake. The smell reminded her of her grandparents' house, where her grandmother would get up early almost every day to bake bread. The brunette had closed her eyes to fully enjoy the cupcake and when she opened them she looked right into the beautiful eyes from Delphinia.

How hadn't she noticed how amazing those eyes were before? They were perfected, just as perfect as the girl's full lips, which were curled into a beautiful smile. Samantha's heart started racing as she noticed more and more great things about the other girl. The second-year was sure that Delphinia had been lying when she said Samantha was the prettiest girl she had ever seen, after all, if Delphinia would look into the mirror she would see the prettiest girl in the whole universe. Samantha was nothing in comparison to her. Her hair was a cheap version of Delphinia's amazing dark brown hair and she wasn't nearly as charming as the younger girl.

Samantha was speechless as she noticed all these amazing details. When Delphinia asked her how her cupcake was she just nodded quietly, afraid to say something embarrassing in front of this amazing girl. The young girl realized that her hands were sweaty and her legs shaking. What was this feeling? She had no idea what to say, something that barely happened to her. Nothing Samantha could think of was worthy to reach Del's ears. She wasn't worthy of Delphinia's attention, but still, it was all she wanted.

Samantha turned her attention to Natasha, hoping not to embarrass herself in front of Delphinia. "Natasha, how was your cupcake? Did it taste as good as mine? Mine tasted amazing!" Wait, what if Del thought that she liked Natasha? Samantha had to make clear that she saw Natasha as a friend and nothing more. "Tell me, what is your favorite cupcake flavor?" Samantha asked Natasha, wanting to chat a little with the girl. "It is important for friends to know the favorite flavor of their friend and also what is your favorite color? Friends need to know each other's favorite color." While making small talk with Natasha, Samantha made sure that it was clear they were friends (and nothing more) for everybody on the table.

When the beautiful girl asked if Samantha would like to see something amazing, the duelist was confused. She already saw something amazing, she refused to believe that there was something more amazing than Delphinia. But when a bouquet of flowers was given to her she realized that there was something more amazing than Delphinia, namely Delphinia who gave flowers to her. Unusually quiet, Samantha took the flowers and stared at them in awe. In her mind, she was freaking out: DELPHINIA JUST GAVE ME FLOWERS! OMG OMG OMG! but on the outside, her head just turned red. "Thank you, they are amazing." Blushing, Samantha looked at the other girl when Delphinia told her she loved her. In shock Samantha stared at the other girl, did she love her? She didn't know how to feel, loving somebody was a lot. "It's okay," the second-year told the girl, who had just called herself silly. Samantha liked the fact that Delphinia just said what was on her mind. After all, Sam did that usually too, but now she was afraid Delphinia would think bad of her.

"Yes, maybe when we are a little older we can talk about marrying," she agreed with Delphinia. What had happened to her? She never even thought about dating somebody and now she was talking about marrying? Well, before this she didn't know Delphinia, so it made sense that she didn't think about dating if she hadn't met her soulmate yet. Yes, in Samantha's mind Delphinia was her soulmate and they were perfect together. Anybody who didn't see that was blind and stupid.

The need to impress Delphinia grew with every second she looked at her. "I grew up in the Netherlands, so I can speak fluent Dutch," Samantha said proudly, what else could she impress Delphinia with? "I grew up as a muggle, but I still get amazing grades at school. Also, I am a duelist and I won my last duel." Yes, perfect. Now she only needed to exaggerate a bit to make her look better. "It was a tough game, I went up against 2 older duelists," Samantha left out the fact that she had a dueling partner who was in her fifth year and made it look like she did it all alone. "They both seemed to have it out for me, but I was too fast for them and was able to dodge all their spells," so many lies... For the first part of the duel, nobody had aimed at her, and in the last part she had been hit a couple of times, but that wasn't important for Delphinia to know. If Delphinia did know maybe she wouldn't talk to her anymore, Samantha couldn't let that happen.

Samantha stared at the beautiful girl, who sat across the table from her, so far away, too far away. She wanted to be closer to her soulmate. "Lucky," Samantha said loudly, as she turned to the girl next to Delphinia. "Instead of trading cupcakes, could we trade seats? Please?" Samantha asked friendly. "You can sit on my place and I can sit on yours, so I can talk to the most beautiful girl in the world," SHIT "I mean Delphinia." Samantha's head was now extremely red, why did she have to say that. What if Delphinia didn't want to sit next to her? Well, she had already asked it and now it was in Lucky's hands.

LOVELY CUPCAKES

Samantha couldn't resist biting into a cupcake. They were such nice smelling cupcakes after all, perhaps reminding her of her favourite thing. Goodness, was it getting warm it here? It seemed the next person she saw would be the object of her obsession.

On the other hand, Delphinia would feel the effects of the Amortentia start to wear off...

PLEASE NOTE: This will be the last mod post as our next in-character event, the Blossom Ball, will be starting within the next few weeks. You may continue to roleplay and feel free to state that your character ate a cupcake and ended up under the effects of Amortentia but we ask that the effects stay strictly within this event. This means you cannot claim your character stole Amortentia laced cupcakes from this event.

However, Orion will be keep an eye on the threads, and there is still a table full of teachers, so please try not to do anything he wouldn't do!
