While Dee would like to say that the duel was picking up speed, somehow, most of the time half the people were incapacitated in some way.

Sylvie was busy trying to spot where her wand had gone, and would find it off to the side of the stage, a few meters away from her. She'd be able to pick it up soon, thankfully, and perhaps get another spell in before the Slytherins... well, did whatever they were planning next.

Elsa was clearly getting serious about this duel, aiming her wand at Henry, who was trying to get rid of the blindfold she had graced him with a moment ago. The fire that burst from the tip of her wand was a sight to behold, a green fountain of flames, crackling and hissing. They hit Henry perfectly, leaving his shoulder burning with hot, green fire.

But perhaps the Gryffindor had been too distracted with casting and aiming. Combined with the last, dissipating remnants of wind, the blindfold Bridget sent her way was too fast for her to avoid, although for a moment, it looked like she might manage.

Dee huffed slightly. This was going way too well for the Vipers, in her opinion.

To be honest, she didn't do a very good job with the warning she'd promised. Waiting around to tell him at just the right moment wasn't exactly an option if she wanted to get off a spell of her own, and with her headache worsening, her multitasking wasn't at its peak; it was kind of helpful to know, with a decent degree of certainty, she wouldn't have to dodge anything, for why would Elsa pass up a blindfolded Henry? That allowed her to focus on just her casting.

She went with an Obscuro, the idea on her mind thanks to Elsa's cast of it. It was getting harder to focus, but she managed well enough for the blindfold to secure itself over the girl's eyes. That was enough; it didn't matter it wasn't her strongest cast, or that it had almost missed. And as their spells traded, Elsa's a far more impressive plume of green flame, she gave an "Incoming." Too late and not enough when he couldn't see, the both of them--Henry now blindfold-free--would be treated to the sight of flame eating greedily at his clothes, his flesh.

That had to hurt. "Hang in there." A simple instruction, and at this point, he was still relatively fine; at least the fire wasn't atop existing bruises or burns. Plus, they had a moment to catch their breath if they needed it, though breathing wasn't exactly the easiest thing at the moment with her nose somehow simultaneously clogged and streaming.

"Man, I just want to find my wand. I'm in agony. This is so-" Sylvie was mumbling to herself, dramatic as always. The blindfold?!?! It was basically a 2-v-1, poor Nicky. But... It didn't matter! Because of... Erm... Optimism! Yes. She truly was just a drama queen, and while things weren't great, they could certainly be worse.

"Hang in there, Nick!"

The next minute included some interesting tactical decisions.

Not on the Vipers' side, of course. Their strategy was the obvious one: All guns aimed at the blindfolded girl. But Elsa wasn't going to make it as easy as they might have expected: Instead of removing her blindfold, the Gryffindor focused on dodging blindly, and with surprising success.

Bridget was still being shaken by sneezes, a fierce headache digging its claws into her skull, and her aim was - accordingly - not great. Elsa easily managed to dodge the haphazardly aimed knockback jinx that Bridget cast at her, the spell itself nowhere near its usual power. At least the Slytherin would be able to notice some relief after - the curse was wearing off, the cold fading. She'd be back to full capacity soon enough.

Henry had finally also chosen to turn his wand against his friend, with more success this round than his older partner had had. Although it looked for a moment like Elsa might just manage to evade the wind jinx, too, it still managed to hit her hip, and left her with fresh winds swirling.

At least Sylvie had Elsa's back, choosing to remove her partner's blindfold rather than pick up her own wand. It appeared that Tatsu the Gods were not in the mood to reward such loyalty, however: Right after she had tugged the blindfold off Elsa's head, Sylvie was struck by lightning from the cloud she herself had conjured at the beginning of the duel. Ouch.

The idea was a blindfold would make it a little easier to land a hit as her cold worsened. She executed the first part well enough, but she'd underestimated how much more intense the spell would get. With the pounding headache, she almost didn't feel up to casting anything. She'd set herself up, though, and she had to try to take advantage of that. A second behind Henry, she lifted her wand, squinting against the sinus pressure.

Her Flipendo followed his Ventus and, frankly, her aim was horrible, thrown off by another sneeze building up. Even if Elsa hadn't moved a muscle, it probably would have flown right past her. Having cast and no spell coming at the Slytherin end of the platform, she let herself double over, hands on knees, in the hopes the cold would ease or she could at least shake off the fog. And, after a few moments, the spell seemed to have peaked, symptoms retreating faster than they came on.

Straightening and very pointedly ignoring her soiled sleeve, she caught Henry's address and noted the state of the Gryffindors, Sylvie still wandless and Elsa able to see but caught in a gale. "I'm alright." She'd been able to manage decently for most of the curse's effects, but it was definitely a good thing it was over. A nod in confirmation was given to his final whispered comment, a nonverbal 'yes, let's'. They weren't in the home stretch of the duel yet, but if they could focus in, they were getting there.

Another gust of wind to hold Nicky back... At least her blindfold was off. She would certainly be okay, right? Besides, now Sylvie had her own problems. A lack of wand being the biggest of her woes. It would be unwise to stand on this stage without one; Especially when spells are being hurled in your direction.
