She vaguely remembered hearing the name of the witch before. ''Yes, Quidditch is practically the only official sport we have. There is going to be quidditch at Hogwarts too, every house has a team and everyone can try out from the second or third year, I think. First though, we need to learn to fly,'' this was the part Clara wasn't too keen on. She had issues with heights, not fear per say, but dislike nevertheless. ''Anyway, you are right, we should change,'' she pushed the thought of having to be high up in the sky away and stood up.

Just to find herself, same as Samantha, watching her own trunk with apprehension. She hadn't put it up there and struggling with Sam's had been a feat. ''Sure...'' she started to respond, but stopped midway. ''You know what? I think I might just go and find someone,'' and with that Clara opened the car door, poking her head out into the corridor. As luck would have it, two tall boys, already in their uniforms were rushing past. ''Hi, guys? Do you have a minute to give us a hand with the luggage, please?'' .

The two boys, looking at each other and rolling their eyes, nodded in agreement. ''Sam! We got help!'' Clara grinned, as she backed up and opened the door fully to let them in. The boys lifted down both trunks with no troubles, just huffing that this had been like the third time they had to help girls. Clara just smiled, waving them out and calling a sincere thank you after them.

''Well, that was easy,'' she walked over to her luggage and opened the lid. ''Boys are useful,'' the young witch set to quickly changing into the school uniform. Final piece of garment was the black robe which, for now, Clara folded over her arm. ''At least we don't have to carry these with us to the castle. I heard someone say that they get delivered separately and end up wherever you get sorted,'' she swayed steadily as the train pulled to a full stop. ''Should we go?''

Flying! Samantha couldn't wait to step on a broom and learn it. She had no idea how it would be, but she was sure she would love it. "Who would not love to fly?" Samantha asked herself, not knowing that her new made friend wasn't to keen on flying.

Went Clara went out of the car to find help Samantha still tried to get her suitcase down. Samantha stood on her toes trying to get the suitcase of the rack, but she was to smal. Even though Samantha knew she wouldn't be able to get it down alone she still tried. ''Sam! We got help!''Clara came back in with two tall boys. The boys walked past Samantha how was still trying to reach her trunk. When one of the boys got her suitcase down Samantha's face became red. "Thank you" Samantha smiled awkwardly at the boys. Why did she had to be so smal, she looked like a dwarf next to the older boys.

After Samantha had put on her uniform she looked at Clara: "I'm so exited!" Samantha clapped in her hands and grinned big. She had never been more excited in her live to go to school. She always liked school, but a school where they teach you magic is so much beter.

"Should we go? Of course we should go!" Samantha was happy that they didn't have to carry their trunks to the castle, but even if they had to carry it wouldn't kill Samantha's happiness. Samantha grabbed Clara's hand: "Come on!"

Samantha tried to get trough all the students and at the same time not lose Clara. Samantha couldn't wait to get to Hogwarts and everybody was walking to slow for her. She pushed herself trough the students who were all taller then her. Samantha heard a man yell: "Incoming first years, come this way! Leave your luggage behind!" The man was outside of the train and Samantha followed his voice to get out of the train.

Clara followed her friend through the crowds of other students, with every wave of people they encountered she held on to Samantha tighter and tighter. For a small person she was like little steam roller, plowing through kids like they were made from butter, which made Clara smile.

Stepping off the train into the cooling evening of Scottish lands, she took in the sight of everything around, willingly letting herself to be led. They stopped in front of a small forming crowd. It sounded like she had been right about the luggage. ''I've heard from my dad that the next part in our journey is quite magical,'' she leaned over to Sam. However, no elaboration followed as she wasn't going to spill the proverbial beans, wanting her friend to experience it herself.

Once everyone was off the train, the man in charge herded the first years into a different direction than the majority of older students went. Clara had let go of Samantha's hand once there was no more pushing and shoving happening and took time to put on her robe, hoping it would ward off the slight chill. But she kept close wanting to make sure they didn't get separated. The walk wasn't long and soon they ended up at a large body of water, with a few small boats with lanterns gently bobbing on invisible waves.

Clara was looking over the lake at the barely visible lights on the other side, knowing that there stood the magical castle. Before she knew it, she was directed towards one of the boats and quickly realized that Sam was no longer next to her. Looking around, she finally noticed her friend who sat in another vessel two boats over. Her hand shot up and she waved, hoping Samantha would see her. This was a shame, she had hoped they would see the castle for the first time and go into the Sorting Ceremony together. Sad as it was, it wasn't like they wouldn't see each other again, there was even a good chance they could end up in the same house.

Soon the boats moved off and her attention was swept away towards the oncoming school lights.
